Wonderful stay enjoying a great dinner, fresh breakfast and friendly service.

Breakfast was very good All fresh and mostly local food. Bread was warm and eggs were from a local framer. Service was very friendly and helpful. Request for extra pillows was meet with immediate and cheerful assistance. Extra sparkling and still water provided at no charge in room. Dinner in the restaurant was very good. Parking was close, easy and free. It was an easy and free trip to downtown on the train or bus with tourist card provided from hotel. Took about 10-15 minutes.

One has to accept that it is costly to visit Switzerland and not blame the hotels for the high costs.

Ψharming hotel with its classic style and unique touches inspired by an old ironworks

I really enjoyed my stay at this charming hotel with its classic style and unique touches inspired by an old ironworks. The rooms were comfortable, the staff very kind, and the restaurant quite interesting. The spacious parking was definitely a bonus. To get to the center of Lucerne you need to take a bus, but the stop is just a few meters from the hotel, which makes it very convenient

The bathroom door is metal and opens and closes in a rather unusual way, making noise, which is not very convenient, especially during the night

Easy to find, good location for a 6 minute drive to a parking house in Lucerne Free parking outside the hotel Room was clean and quite big

We had a room facing the main road and was a bit noisy with traffic. A room at the back would have been great. No fridge in the room (we knew this when booking but the bar man gave us two big bags of ice). The bathroom was on the small side (one person at a time) and the lighting was a bit low (no good for women and makeup). The room had an odd feel to it, with no personality. Distressed metal in places. No wardrobe, just a clothes rack.

Location was great, in a residential area close to Lucerne , it has a very good restaurant on site and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our family room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable

The breakfast was quite lovely. We also really enjoyed the balcony and the closeness of our rooms. We appreciate that effort.

Superb restaurant. Convenient for bus to/from main station. Cool bar and outdoor area.

Spoilt by proximity to busy road. No air conditioning in room - need that as when it is hot, if you open the windows, there is too much road noise. No tea coffee in room. No safe. No fridge.

Fantastic Ferus!

Room was generous with nice balcony from where you could see the mountains! Bed huge and comfortable. Everything spotless. The restaurant downstairs was cool and relaxed and Risk and the team were very friendly and accommodating in every way! The hotel was well located in the suburbs - a short 15 minute bus ride from outside the central station which was so convenient with a bus that went directly by the hotel with a nearby stop - the FREE Lucerne visitor pass impressed us hugely and made using the public transport so smooth and easy! What a great way to level the playing field for businesses in the suburbs!?

The bathroom was tight but adequate. The balcony was facing a busy road so there was a little noise that may affect some visitors. Some additional hangers and a kettle in room would have been appreciated. We had breakfast in the hotel one morning and although it was nice, the selection was not great and therefore it did not present great value unfortunately,

Comfortable clean room. Good wifi reception. Staff friendly. Location is out of city centre, but easily reached by train (Emmenbrukke Kapf) which has 2 trains an hour daily from Luzern (line S1), easy 5-10 min walk. Was sent an email with a link regarding the Luzern card which includes free bus & train travel in Luzern the night before.

Switzerland is VERY expensive. Having said that, i feel the price paid should include breakfast (another 15 euro), and was very dissapointed there was no kettle or tea/coffee making facilities in room.

Very clean comfortable place 10 minutes from the center.

Nice clean comfortable place. A 10 minute bus ride from downtown. Not new but very clean. Comfortable bed and shower. Parking across hotel and a very fine restaurant in the premises. Just missing coffee in the room or a small fridge.

The bedroom was spacious it had plenty of room for a small refrigerator or at the very least a nexpresso coffee machine.

brilliant only sorry I didn't go there first, I never would have left it for my entire holiday

room adequate, lift perfect, outdoor seating brilliant, scenery absolutely stunning, public transport services convenient, easy connection to motorway, staff were kind, efficient, pleasant, and extremely informative. the only place I stayed on my tour of Switzerland that provided me with a request for the visitors public transport free card/QR code downloaded to my phone during my stay.

only flaw which is unavoidable in the space at the entrance is the steep entrance slope

It was very convenient to the train and bus. Nice and quiet for sleeping and a comfortable bed! Restaurant was delicious!

The bathroom lighting was very dark and difficult for applying makeup. The metal bathroom door was very noisy.

Room was clean and easily accessible. The car park opposite was very convenient and the general location from Lucerne centre by car was close.

In hindsight, we could have stayed at a better hotel nearer to the city with more appealing options.

The staff are friendly and polite, especially the receptionist, who was particularly welcoming and helpful.

The price-to-facility ratio is quite poor—what’s offered doesn't justify the cost. The rooms are significantly smaller than those in other hotels within this price range, and the bathroom is very compact. There’s no air conditioning or closet. Breakfast is extremely limited, with hardly any choice. Overall, the experience feels more like a motel than a hotel.

Wonderful reception despite our arriving towards the end of an evening. Clean and comfortable room. Friendly and helpful bar staff. Great food, beer and wine. Enjoyed discovering the history of this interesting building. Liked the way the decoration was in keeping with its industrial heritage.
