Awrsome experience

A very unique & amazing experience to sleep on top of Pilatus! The views are breathtaking, the food is delicious and the staff was very friendly. Definitely recommmended.

Although we went in May it was still snowing and very misty. Could not see anything around the place. All the trails/hikes were closed. But it is not a mistake of the property we have to accept the weather.

A stay to remember atop Pilatus.

Spectacular stay all around, from views, to the comfortable room and spectacular meals. It was more than we imagined. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making our stay extra special. The unique views, dining and solitude experienced staying in top of Pilatus will not disappoint.

Might seem pricey at first, but given the inclusive meals, and the location, worth every cent.

Very good choice available at breakfast, and the four course included dinner was excellent. A set menu, with limited choices, but they were sufficient. The beef main course available on the second night menu was exceptional. The waiting staff are friendly and attentive, as was reception. The views when the weather cleared were stunning.

The weather !! It was cloudy and misty quite a bit of the time, so we could not see the spectacular views all day. (But we did see them for a few hours.)

Pleasant stay with great view!

Check in was fast and easy, friendly staff trying her best to explain everything to me in English. Room was big with spectacular view, Dinner and breakfast are great, Tiago from the restaurant are friendly and welcoming, thumbs up for him!

Check out could be a little bit more efficient and polite, as I was trying to check out early in the morning at 8am but the different staff told me "too early and she is not ready yet", So I waited for a little while when she is ready.

This is my 4th stay at the hotel atop Pilatus and again i cannot praise the staff here enough. They are just so thorough, caring, polite and knowledgeable about the area. Every time i have been ive been given great info on the local hikes and conditions. The hotel is wonderful, the views are spectacular from all over the grounds, and at all times of the day. WIFI is great and the set menu at the restaurant is perfect & the staff there are also super. The best part of staying on the mountain is that before the gondola starts for the day and after the gondola stops you have the mountain to yourself to explore. Perfect for photos without people in the background :)

Exceptional location but there is room for improvement

Location, view, brilliant dinner scene and hospitality. Weather is out of the world during summer months, hiking spots and ways to come back up

At late night there was some noise from neighboring room which made it uncomfortable to sleep. Sound proofing to probably be improved But overall it was one of the best locations I’ve ever seen

Excellent location, of course, and great views from all our (very nice!) rooms. Friendly and professional staff. Dinner was far beyond our expectations! And of course, it was great having the mountain all to ourselves in the early morning.

Bathroom was ok for one night, but could have done with a bit of upgrade. Put in some hooks and shelves, maybe? And beware, the announced 20% travel discount for hotel guests is only valid for full-price tickets (meaning, if you have a half-fare card, which you probably do since you are in Switzerland, there's no discount on the ride up/down).

Séjour exceptionnel dans un site exceptionnel

Tout ! Une note particulière pour l’amabilité du personnel, tout simplement exceptionnel, tant à l’hôtel qu’au restaurant. Je souhaite souligner également que le repas du soir était succulent, dans la salle à manger magnifique d’un hôtel historique.

Vue magnifique, petit dej varié mais pas fabuleux (pas tant de choix que ça), dîner très bon même si la soupe aurait pu être moins salée et ils auraient pu rajouter une 2e tranche de jambon fumé dans l'entrée. Personnel très aimable! Literie très confortable

Jolie expérience sur le Pilatus

L'établissement et le cadre, le lieu est juste magnifique. La chambre est fonctionnelle et la literie confortable. Le menu de saison proposé était très bon et joliment proposé, dommage que nous ayons dû faire un choix entre le dessert et le fromage.

Le personnel parle allemand et anglais, mais même pas un peu de français, idem pour les panneaux. On pourrait facilement intégrer une autre langue nationale suisse 😜 Les chambres restent très épurées, une petite touche montagnarde aurait été la bienvenue.
