Nice hotel with character with nice staff and excellent breakfast perfectly located in the heart of Versailles

Great hotel with character = nice atmosphere. Very friendly & helpful staff. Excellent breakfast - not huge choice but fresh and high quality incl. variety of eggs made to order. Great Location in the heart of beautiful Versailles with walking distance to train station „Rive Gauche / Chateau“. Also walking distance to the palace. Using this hotel since many years mainly for business but also once for family trip to visit Paris (proximity to RER allows access to Paris centre within 35 minutes). Always a pleasure.

Well-located, quaint hotel with a nice billiards room.

the hotel is really well located (walkable to major sites and restaurants) and our family loved the billiards table. the rooms were small, but nicely appointed and the bedding was quite comfortable. The room was very clean. Default check-out at noon was nice.

The wifi worked great in 1 room and not at all in our teenagers' room (on the other side of the hotel). We could hear people talking in the room next to us. The walls are very thin. We checked in late and were given the key to a wrong room. The wall-mounted, old fashioned hairdryer in the bathroom was not great. The TV only had regular French stations - no English language movie channels or Netflix. Parking is paid only (we parked on the street which was less expensive than the private hotel rental spots at a nearby cathedral).

Extremely comfortable and excellent for a few days in Versailles.

Room was very quiet and spacious. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Hotel has a few extras like a pool table and a bar but the bar isn't very cheap. Wi-fi was excellent. Hotel was in a great location very close to Versailles palace and the town itself.

Breakfast was very expensive for what was on offer (16 euros for cereals, ham and some pastries). Room could have been cleaner but was not a dealbreaker at all. Bar is a bit poorly stocked and requires the front desk to staff it.

Nice!

It was very cozy. The employees were so incredibly nice. The people doing the breakfast were just amazing. They made us delicious food and took care of our needs (i wanted decaf, the search for it) besides, food was so delicious and extremely fresh. It seemed to be home made.

We asked for two single beds and they were on the same base, not really separate even though we re two single mattresses.

Nice stay to visit the Versailles.

The toilets are nice and clean

Some of our room doors are difficult to open. I guess because it’s old. Difficult to find parking. Only come in a van or car if it’s on a weekend because parking at the street is free!

Good room but unreliable reception

Room was clean and decent size, had a small desk and wardrobe. Bathroom had a good shower with good water pressure. Pillows were also good, which can be rare in hotels.

The reception staff were very hit and miss. When we arrived we were lucky and had a very nice and friendly one but the next morning we had quite an unfriendly person and in the afternoon when we came back from our tour the person on reception barely spoke any English, which made is almost impossible to communicate unfortunately.

Very good location especially to visit Versailles Palace. We managed to get a parking spot right outside. Friendly staff and a perfectly adequate breakfast.

Carpets could do with being replaced. Also the blankets on the beds were worn and a terrible sludge colour which didn’t help

Lovely stay at Versailles

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The girl in the reception was very kind and helpful. Close to the city centre and market of Versailles and also the palace.

The only negative in the room was that the bathroom did not have neither ventilation nor window. All the rest were perfect.

Brilliant staff - no fridge!

Staff really nice. Area is brilliant - only a short walk to the Chateau. The room was very quiet ... even with the window open which we needed ... because no air conditioning and very hot in there! Probably brilliant in the winter!

There was no fridge was the main gripe. If it had had a fridge and air-conditioning it would have been perfect ... but I wouldn't wish to detract ... it is a lovely place to stay

Nice hotel with basic facilities near Chateau de Versailles

The location was a 10 min walk to Versailles palace, near shops and restaurants.

Price did not include breakfast which made it more expensive than a 4 star with spa in central Paris!

The hotel worked perfectly for our 3 night, city break. The room was very small & quite dark but it was clean & everything worked! All necessities were supplied. There are bigger lighter rooms available. I had requested a quiet room - which was supplied - at the back of the Hotel. It was very quiet! Excellent breakfast! Staff all pleasant and helpful. A special thanks to Francisco, who couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Location is super. Walking distance to everything, including the palace.

The wine served at the bar was awful! Suggest hotel stocks individual, mini bottles of decent red, white & Rose. Nothing else not to like!

Well appointed clean rooms with a window closer to chateau

Room had facilities like large double bed and well equipped bathroom with mirror attached to bathroom door. The window next to the bed was good. Cleanliness was good and very well behaved staff. Location is a 5 min walk to Versille Chateau or rail station. It is next to the cathedral. Thus location wise it is perfect.

First room allocated was the first floor corner stuffy room. On request they shifted to the 2nd floor a better room which according to booking.com double room photo was the same. As tourists as u felt that they were giving us at first a less convenient room. No water bottle in the room. No empty bottles or glasses to facilitate consumption of water. The room was small like Paris. We booked a hotel in versaille to attempt to get a slightly bigger room than Paris. But the room size would be the same as that of Paris. Not recommended for a family coming with a child and big size suitcases. Wish linen bed sheet was provided to cover while sleeping along with blanket. Only uncovered woolen blankets were provided.

Ideal location: close to Versailles Chateau, 2 train stations (Rive Gauche and Chantiers) and restaurants & cafes. Our room was at the back side, overlooking a small patio, so it was very quiet. The hotel staff were friendly and eager to help us.

Our room had no fridge, but a fridge might be comfy and handy in hot Summer days. A water cooker was there, but no proper cups nor glass, so we had to drink hot tea and coffer from paper cups, which was extremely difficult.
