DOMITYS - Le Solstice

The location was excellent. The facilities were great, specially the sauna. The place looked really clean and well kept.

We didn’t use the swimming pool but it did look like it could use a clean.

The apartment was modern and clean. It's location within a supported living complex was a little unexpected but this caused no issues. The location right bext to and overlooking the train station was ideal for us as it gave us a speedy arrival and departure. The 15 minute walk to the Palace of Versaille was level, easy and safe. The pool was a welcome surprise.

The apartment is advertised as self catering but cookware was limited to a frying pan and a small saucepan. The images show there to be far more furniture than there is in reality however what is there is modern and in good condition. Unfortunately, there were no tea towels and the kitchen cleaning cloth had already been used. Similarly there was no shampoo, shower gel or hand soap in either kitchen or bathroom- pretty basic expectations these days. With a little more effort this could be a gem of a find.

Friendly staff Really good for wheelchair accessibility

Noise of bus station and trains Lack of air conditioning in heat wave Lacking furniture eg only relaxed seating for two.

Very close to the station. Note the directions on BookDCom are not helpful. There is access from the railway station directly to the bus station via escalator and the Apartment access is directly from the bus station entry/exit. Directions take you around the block.

Compared with our numerous other BookDCom reservations this was Very Spartan, not reflecting the photos on the BookDCom adv. Location not as good as other facilities near by for events at the Palace or for restaurants. Practical issues if you were using it as a self catering apartment were the lack of any cutting knives, kitchen utensils, or cutting boards. There was also no hair drier but fortunately my wife had a small travel one with her. Bed was comfortable, water was hot but shower head was poor, despite other comments about cleanliness the bottom of the fixed shower screen, part of the toilet grab handle and under the toilet bowl had missed cleaning for a while. Over all OK but we wouldn’t return.
