Fabulous location on edge of Versailles park. Friendly and helpful staff, great spa experience. Comfortable beds.

The hotel needs a refurbishment: rooms and internal decor is dated. Bathroom had no rack/hooks for towels, so they were left on edge of bath where they easily got wet. The fitness centre has a great pool but basic changing facilities. The elevator closest to us broke down during our stay meaning regular climbs up stairs. The breakfast was only average in terms of the food provided (e.g. simple fresh fruit selection, baguette which was not well cooked compared with those sold in the town's boulangeries.....)

Location couldn’t be better for everything in Versailles. Lovely walks. Breakfast good but you don’t always want to eat a full breakfast. Room was excellent nice and large as we had a twin. You need double of everything. Very obliging staff always very helpful. Excellent housekeeping!

More milk for tea/coffee making facilities. More grab rails in the bath area. We’re not disabled but safety is key getting in an out of a bath with an overhead shower.

A whole new wing with ceilings only 2.3 metres high is likely to cost the hotel some of its five stars. The underground passageway between the two wings resembles the depressing underpass of a poor provincial town. The corridors smell bad. This is clearly not the world of luxury.

The hotel is in a great location and our stay was extremely enjoyable

Excellent breakfast and service. Evening meal was somewhat limited and very expensive. It woul have been nice to have had a more reasonably priced option in a brasserie format, rather than the bar option. Clearly in the summer months this would have been possible on the outside terrace.

Peaceful comfortable location with easy access to Versailles palace and gardens.

Room was in annex but we were in no way made to feel uncomfortable as we were welcome in all facilities of the main hotel. Swimming pool and restaurant were both superb and staff were very friendly indeed considering our French was so poor. We especially loved the location with access to parts of the Palace gardens: we were able to walk through nearby gate into Palace gardens early morning and evenings - magical. See attached map with location of hotel.

Not worth the price and does not have the Waldorf Astoria Experience. Location was excellent.

The palace building was beautiful. We liked the gardens, restaurants and pool.

We were very disappointed to know that the pavilion rooms are not only in a different building but it is a drastically different experience. It felt like a standard Hilton convention center. The common spaces were poorly decorated and maintained. Our room had AC issues, the first brought us a fan, then moved us to another room that had the same issues. It was 80f in our room for our entire stay. The fact that the cost made you think you would have a Waldorf Astoria experience and it was just a step up from a Hilton airport hotel it was very very disappointing.

Everything is broken; this is a horrible value. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Good location for touring the gardens, really as close as you can get.

Everything seemed to be broken or out of order. In the middle of the summer, the entire pool, steam room and hamam ere apparently under construction. Several elevators were always out of service. The building in the back of the property is a glorified motel, unfortunately, and has thin walls and doors so you can be woken up by any activity in the hallways. Oh, and the aircon does not work. This was a beyond disappointing hotel for the value and I would not recommend anyone to stay here.

It is close to the castle.

The hotel is old. It is not renovated. The furniture is used. The staff was not friendly and our room was not ready at 3 PM. We had to wait and did not get a drink or something else. Our cupboard in our room was damaged. It took over 40 minutes to get our luggage from the room. The pool was closed and we were not informed. All in all it’s not a five star hotel.

Grounds not the best considering location. Rooms not in main building felt like a conference centre. Bath plug broken, connecting doors opened on arrival. No bottled water. Not what you expect for the price paid. No table for dinner available despite staying in hotel at first, then offered a table at 9.30 with free desert for the inconvenience. Discovered on paying the bill the free desert had been the pre-desert of a pallet cleanser.

Beautiful hotel, in a perfect location with amazing staff and facilities. The bed was extremely comfortable, all the staff were very helpful and friendly. The La Véranda restaurant was great, fast service and gorgeous food. Very easy access being next door to Versailles chateau and gardens.

Everything was fantastic

We had one well dressed older looking male staff member on our day of checkout treat is like we were not worth his time to serve us ! He was ride and looked down on us like we were lower class and shouldn’t be there. I put a complaint in and got back we are sorry to hear this and that was it. This man ruined our whole experience.

Our overall experience was excellent as detailed within our other responses. The staff, the service, the location, the spa etc.. were all excellent as indeed was the peaceful environment.

We thought the Concierge could be more informative when visiting versailles Palace for the first time as it can be quite confusing regarding queuing and timings. We did not dine in either of the restaurants in the evening as we thought the fare was quite limited.

our stay was excellent. The hotel is a beautiful property and very relaxing.

Rooms were so spacious, we had interconnecting rooms , the beds were super comfy. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety. The location was great however little hard to get to with public transport. we had a lot of walking to do from the train station. We ventured into town for dinner and managed to find a lovely restaurant.

everything was great. only thing we didn't like was the shaky lift down to the swimming pool. we decided to use the stairs instead which was fine.

Literally next to the Palace of Versailles .. Entrance Hall was stunning. Food was incredible Breakfast was amazing And staff were welcoming and attentive

Our room was completely fine. Comfortable and quiet. Shower over bath rather than separate. Room was hot so kept window open overnight.. beware we got bitten by Mosquitoes.. i woke up on Saturday morning with 11 bites ( not the hotels fault just letting know )

An absolute highlight of my trip to Paris an incredible and memorable experience.

My stay at the Waldorf Astoria was perfection, everything form the room the the facilities to the onsite restaurants. it was just beautiful.

I wish there was a car or shuttle service from either the Versailles palace or the local train station, because it was a bit challenging to get to. Booking a cab was so difficult because there were none available a the time we called, and after a full day walking around the palace we were just exhausted and wanted to rest.
