Location. Friendly reception staff.
Expensive for what it is. Not as grand as it looks on the website. Breakfast mediocre. Not as good as expected for the price. Mostly paying for the excellent location.

The location is perfect for a visit to the Palace and Gardens of Versailles. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel does provide a buffet breakfast which covered all possible requirements. It does not provide a restaurant for lunch or evening meals but the area is very well catered for with many restaurants close by. The staff were lovely and, thankfully, spoke English. The hotel also has an underground car park which we really appreciated.
It’s starting to look a bit tired but that did not detract from the enjoyment. The only thing that could have been improved, and it’s a small thing, is a light in the entrance to the room. It’s a short little corridor with the door to the bathroom on one side and the wardrobe, safe, fridge and shelving on the other. We had to keep the bathroom door open to see. It was so dark though that we did not use the wardrobe.
