The reception tried to charge me an extra city tax fee which was already paid on booking.com. The lock didn't work on the door of the first room they gave me, I had to request to change it. The AC makes sounds.

Some details didnt work. There wasnt anyone at the bar when we wanted to order, removing the plug from the bathtub was difficult (atleast we didnt figure out an easy way). A bit short staffed it seemed. Even if its sunday the reception shoulnt be alone.

Walking distance to the Palace which was great.

We thought the breakfast was poor value for the money at €19.

The sachets of coffee in the room had solidified into hard lumps and tasted stale. Also no milk was provided in the room. On the first evening after changing for bed we had to go down to reception and get a mug of milk from the dining room.

Good base for a tourist stay.

Friendly staff. Easy check in/out. Good base for exploring Versailles and short walk to train station for an easy journey in to central Paris - which was exactly what we wanted.

Car park very tight (underground) and no electric car charging - but there was a fast charging a few hundred yards from the hotel.

The hotel is adequate for an overnight stay if you’re visiting to see Versailles as we were, but I would not stay there

The front desk attendant was pleasant.

The property was tired and in need of maintenance and upkeep. The location was also pretty far away from the center of the center and any restaurants or cafés.

Looks just like the pictures. Great location!! Short walk from train station. We bought the 5 day bus/metro pass in Paris and it covers Versailles. Fantastic food at the hotel. Highly recommend their breakfast!! Most gorgeous street market one road over!!! Largest I’ve seen, the whole street! Gorgeous produce… actual food… Bus stop right in front… but short walk to Versailles!! Water crafts to bring up to your room. Elevator. AC. Clean. Lovely. Highly recommend!

My sister booked a room… a suit or something to share with her son and his wife. The shower wall was glass into the bedroom. It has a switch to turn on a privacy film… but you could still see a very good silhouette. Fine for a married couple… but heads up if you’re looking at that room to share with family members. ;)

Nice hotel well situated with quiet rooms and very complete breakfast buffet.

Location is excellent, room was very comfy and breakfast very complete. We didnt eat again until arriving to Paris in the evening and felt fine.

Great location to visit the Chateau de Versailles, room was large and very comfortable, underground pay parking available. Super breakfast with lots to choose from and a good selection of gluten free products. Really friendly and helpful staff. Great internet.

We loved Versailles, the Novotel was great for our purposes.

Breakfast was very good, quiet room on the 4th floor, spacious room.

No bottled water in the room. Reception booked us a taxi, was double the price that one we called ourselves.

Clean hotel in good location

Nice, clean and modern hotel. It was walking distance to Versailles (around 15 mins to main train stations and area). It is quite difficult to find a nice hotel in the area so glad I found this one. - water refilling station downstairs was a great idea but would also have liked one on each floor instead of having to go down stairs each time you needed water

- paper cups in the room.for tea/coffee. I understand it is for environmental reasons but would.pefer a mug and glasses that can equally be washed in an environmental way. It felt cheap. - no milk in room for tea/coffee - no amenities - some staff were not particularly helpful
