The signage to find the hotel and its parking is inexistent. I drove three times around the block and finally had to phone the reception.

Great location but walk into town for dinner

It was on the same road as Versailles palace so it was easy to get there before the main crowds. Breakfast was varied and a good selection.

Lack of vegetarian options on evening menu which meant we had to eat outside the hotel. They are missing an audience of vegan and vegetarian diners.

An enjoyable stay with easy acess to the Pala e of Versailles

This was a beautiful hotel with a great location for visiting the Palace of Versailles. The rooms were spacious, modern and comfortable.

The food in the hotel did not really suit our taste and there were no nearby restaurants.

The main a la carte restaurant boasted it had a Michelin star , it just wasn’t up to that standard and was kind of located in an open plan reception area

A wonderful stay - Highly recommended

The location is perfect to visit The Versailles palace, large and modern rooms. Lovely bathroom with Clarins products. A Nescafé coffee machine with pods and 2 bottles of Evian in the fridge renewed daily. We loved the facilities.

Disappointing

Excellent location, practically next to the Palais de Versailles. I also liked that it had its own car park underneath the hotel.

There were several issues with our room. The AC in our room turned off at night, which left the room sweltering, two plugs didn’t work, the safe was locked when we arrived so couldn’t be used. When these issues were raised, they sorted them out except for the AC. But most disappointing for such an expensive hotel was the attitude from the restaurant/bar staff which almost had to be ‘forced’ to sell us dinner and generally gave the impression of being uninterested in making their guests comfortable or being helpful, eg when we inquired about drinks on the terrace they told us the terrace was closed - even though it was beautiful weather and the chairs and parasols were out.

An excellent stay, great location and good French food

We found this hotel superb. Especially the above and beyond service we received from Jack. I injured my knee and was unable to walk but he helped so much, getting me a taxi to A&E and rushing bottles of water to us. He arranged a returning taxi and asked after me the following day. Only shame was I couldn’t manage visit to Versailles but we will return one day

Amazing!

Our stay was such a pleasure! The hotel is beautiful, clean, comfortable. The staff was always super nice, friendly and gentle. The room is spacious, the shower great, amenities good, location perfect, just some minutes walking to the palace and surrounded by restaurants, shops, etc. We also loved to have a covered garage just under the building. If anytime I go back to Versailles, I will for sure stay there again!

For a grand hotel, some details were lacking

The location was great. The room was comfortable

The waitress in the lounge seemed too busy to serve us. She said we would have to wait a while for some food. When we said we would settle for some tea, she told us we should move to the bar. Not the kind of service I would expect from a hotel charging $600 per night. They also said they had a very special 'sensory shower', but all that did was spay or drip cold water and change the colour of the lights.

Great stay right next to the palace

The location is perfect, right next to the palace. The parking underneath very convenient too. The decoration of the common areas was great and the team at the reception very welcoming and professional. The room was very clean and I loved the nespresso coffee machine and the water in the fridge free of charge. Both the bed and the pillows were very comfotable.

The room had a few flaws when we arrived, one of the lamps was hanging out of the socket, one of the curtains was a bit shredded and one of the welcoming pair of bath slippers was not there. The shower was a bit narrow and noisy and the glass curtain was very small, so when showering it was hard to keep all the water inside the tub.

Location and room were very good.

We were double charged and charged for services we did not use and this took over a week to resolve by calls to the hotel. This was very disappointing and impacted our further travel and finances over the next week.

Superb location and service

Location, location, location! The hotel is steps away from the Versailles Palace. It is a well appointed property with very nice facilities. The breakfast spread is one of the best I have experience in Europe.

The WC is separate from the bathroom in the room we stayed in which makes it a somewhat strange experience. It is a personal opinion but other than that the property is fantastic!

Unbeatable Location by the Palace with Excellent Staff

The location by the Palace is incredible! Lovely staff and the breakfast is 5 star. Oliver (hope I’ve spelled his name right) at the bar was great!

Felt very hot and dry to sleep in the rooms, even with air con. We were disappointed that we couldn’t get a table in the restaurant but the bar food was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay at Mgallery Le Louis Versailles Château!

What a spread we had for breakfast! The hotel is within walking distance to the Palace of Versailles which was our plan. The hotel is near to the train station and there are fast foods in the vicinity. If your plan is to sleep in a bit more, and be in the queue before 9am to visit the palace, this would be the hotel to stay in.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with MGallery as a whole.

I loved the location of the hotel and the city of Versailles. We tried to eat at the restaurant but on two different nights the kitchen was already closed, one of which was our last night in France before heading back to the States. However, the bar was still open on our last night so we decided to have a couple of drinks. Last call was announced and our glasses were not empty but we asked if we could have one last drink (a glass of wine & a crown & 7) to take to our room but we were turned down by our bar tender. However, the other bar tender was pouring tequila shots for a single female with three men which seems a lot more riskier than a married couple going up to their room to pack.

I thought the room was very small but to me that is expected and I can understand due to the location. What I don't understand is why the shampoo and body wash was empty on arrival. The front desk was notified and housekeeping never stopped by. When we left the next morning we personally went to the front desk and advised again that our room does not have any shampoo or body wash. When we returned to the hotel around 10:15pm the kitchen was closed so we headed up to our room but no one had refilled the shampoo or body wash. The next morning I was really irritated by this since MGallery says they provide Clarins products in their bathrooms but in reality you basically have to beg for it and the same goes for any extra towels! When we returned to the hotel later this day they finally provided refills. Lastly, I was not pleased with the sitting chair, desk, and desk chair since they were torn and tattered which is unacceptable to me. In case it is helpful, I believe we were in room 515.

Beautiful hotel; worth 4 stars and a good location

Excellent location for the Palace of Versailles and others restauarnts / bars were a short walk away. Buffet breakfast had plenty of food options and was very well presented. The hotel's own bar was very nice too.

Room service (used twice) due to not being well. First time took 3 attempts to get my order sorted (there seemed to be a language barrier); 2nd time around was much better - the food itself was good and again well presented.
