The apartment is in a perfect location for visiting all the sites in Spello. We loved the apartment and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Nori is a wonderful host. She left us lots of food items which was wonderful and even drove us to the train station when we departed.

Had a lovely stay at Nori’s house. The house was in the historic centre close to shopping, the piazza, cafes and the train station. Nori was a super host, very welcoming and provided lots of information about Spello. Her home was spotless and she provided a lovely welcome package. Nori’s house was very comfortable for our stay. Would highly recommend for a stay in Spello.

Nori mirrors the impressive, special home which she was kind enough to allow us to use for five wonderful days in Spello. On multi floors, very clean, and with a comfortable bed, shower, and washer/dryer, it seemed a perfect temporary residence. But then you add the many snacks and drinks which Nori thoughtfully places in the apartment, the wealth of information she provides, her almost instant availability, the kindness and knowledge of her translator, and the magic of Spello, and you have a perfect vacation stop. Nori and her translator were waiting for us on the corner of the apartment's street and after checking us in and giving us lots of valuable information, they joined us in our car and took us to the free parking lot outside the city's walls. There is nothing more for which we could have asked of her. Thank you, Nori.

Nori is such a gracious host. She and her friend who served as her interpreter met us and showed us all about the house. They even helped by showing us where to park for free. Nori was thoughtful in leaving fresh fruit and some pastries and other supplies to get us started for our nine day stay. We loved staying in the old town of Spello; we came specifically for the flower festival. We were able to walk to everything. Our only disappointment with the house is that we didn’t have access to the courtyard.

Bottom line at the top: We could not have been more pleased. First, Spello: Is Spello as charming as you’ve heard? Should you stay in Spello? YES and YES. Spello was our base for a week of day trips, and we came home from each of them gratified, but also thinking we may have been just as happy just staying put. Now, as for this particular rental: It is just inside the walls of the historic center, so you don’t have to drag your bags up a mile of cobblestones. It is clean and comfortable and more homey than a hotel. The best part is the host. She couldn’t have been more accommodating. She stocked the kitchen shelves and refrigerator and had detergent in the laundry room and stacks of books and brochures. Our timing had to change for both our arrival (due to a train strike) and our departure (due to the Giro d’Italia) and she went above and beyond to work with us. Would we stay here again? Would we recommend it to others? YES and YES.

Casa Flora is an ideal base for a couple to explore the Spello/Assisi/Montefalco area. The property is very clean and comfortable, and Nori leaves it well-stocked for visitors. While there were some initial communication issues due to the language barrier, Nori and her translator were gracious and extremely welcoming, providing detailed descriptions of everything needed for a trouble-free visit. Highly recommended.

If we could award our host,Nori, and her assistant/interpreter, Caroline, ten stars instead of VRBO's five, it still wouldn't be enough. These two were in regular communication with us from the time we made our booking until our arrival, making sure everything went smoothly. From the moment they met us at the Spello train station, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome, taking extra time to carefully explain all the "need-to-knows" about Casa Flora, following up with us regularly & solving even some personal travel issues. In all our many years of travel, Nori & Caroline are absolutely the BEST host team we have ever encountered. Period. Simply put, we were treated like family from start to finish and there was nothing these two wonderful women wanted more than for us to be happy during our stay. Casa Flora, in addition to being spotlessly clean & having the kitchen pre-stocked with essentials, turned out to be perfect for us on this, our second trip to Spello: just a 6-7 minute walk to the train (even for two folks over 70); and situated just off our favorite Piazza JF Kennedy in the lowest part of old town (no steep streets to climb after a long day exploring Umbrian hill towns) where you can enjoy nightly apertivos or dinner, great little shops, and even find parking. Note: sadly, steep, curved stairs make Casa Flora a no for wheelchairs & tuff for some disabled. Otherwise, a spotless, comfy home in great location with THE BEST HOST! Mille grazie!

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Flora so much the first time , last year, that we booked it for 17 nights this year. Our second stay did not disappoint. Nori is an outstanding host who responds promptly to all communications.Her apartment is quiet, clean, spacious, and comfortable . Its location is inside the city walls , but still within walking distance of a large supermarket located outside the walls. The " Centro "of Spello , with a good Alimentary, is also within walking distance but it is via a fairly steep street since the city is built on a hillside. There are multiple places nearby for good cappuccinos and pastries. Good restaurants like Pinturrichio and LaCantina are also within walking distances. Spello is picturesque and during the "Infiorate " it is a photographic paradise with all of its floral displays.

Nori´s home in Spello was excellent in all respects. Her home is clean, spacious, bright,and well appointed. The location is ideal in its proximity to the main street . Its located inside the city wall and main gate at the lower end of the city. We stayed 5 nights during the Infiorate weekend and were amazed at how quiet her home was. Nori was the ultimate hostess and respected our privacy yet was readily available through Whats App. Her kitchen was bright and airy plus she had stocked the refrigerator with drinks and snacks. We could not have asked for a better place to stay and would definitely rent it again if we return to Spello.

Casa Flora is a wonderful apartment to stay at in Spello. Nori met us and along with her English speaking friend Valentina. They took us to the apartment and showed us how things worked. Nori had stocked the kitchen with breakfast things which was good since we’d arrived late on a Sunday afternoon. They also showed us where to park the car - on the free side of the lot. The apartment is charming and has everything necessary for a holiday. Spello is an interesting town and the apartment is very quiet at night. Nori kept in contact by email and answered our questions as they came up. She even came to say goodbye when we left. We were sorry to leave and would love to stay again if we’re ever in Spello. Thank you Nori and Valentina!

The most special part of our visit was our hostess Nori who filled the kitchen with a wide variety of food for our enjoyment, drove us to and from the train station, and quickly dealt with a few minor issues (Internet and hot water). Nori eased communication across languages by using an electronic translater and by bringing the charming Vakentina who was able to speak english with us. She even brought us going away gifts. We lived our time inSpello and in Nori's quiet flat and were sad to leave.

Our stay at Nori’s in Spello was fantastic. Apartment location is less than a minutes walk from the main old town entry gate. Nori greeted the 3 of us with open arms. She showed us where the local supermarket is (less than 5 minute walk), near by free parking, and made suggestions for our stay. The home was stocked with snacks, juice, breakfast items, coffee and everything we needed to cook inside when we wanted to. The home was extremely clean and very well kept. Our only wish is that we could have stayed longer. Spello is in a great location! 10 minutes to Assisi and on the east side of the valley. The views from the top of the old town were magnificent! Very appreciative guests of Nori, Lou, Carol, and Marisa

This was our second time staying at this house. We love it. Right at the base of this beautiful town built in the city wall. Nori is so kind and helpful. The house was fully stocked....above and beyond what we expected. Two bedrooms, very comfortable and a great place to stay for touring the area.

Nori - we would like to thank you for our stay at Casa Flora in October 2015. We found the accommodation to be very good. Your welcome was informative and having Valentina with you to assist with translation was thoughtful and helpful. For those who are interested Casa Flora is a large apartment spread over three levels and part of an apartment complex with other permanent residences. The apartment is secure with an external locking door and an apartment dead locking system. The apartment has three main areas, a comfortable lounge room with television, a kitchen with very thing you would need (no microwave but that is not a worry) and a bedroom area which has a main bedroom with a comfortable double bed and a single bed in a separate room which is accessed through the double bed room. The bathroom has plenty of room with an excellent shower! So apart from this general information we found Casa Flora clean and very well serviced with all the linen required. All bathroom and kitchen items are provided. The breakfast was plentiful and although we stayed for 3 nights the provision left by Nori were more than adequate for the three breakfasts. Nori was very helpful when we had trouble with the Internet which is somewhat restrictive but more then adequate. We would highly recommend Casa Flora to anyone planning to add the lovely quiet Spello to their Umbria travel plans! Thanks Nori we loved our stay with you.

We loved our stay in this charming cottage. It was comfortable, attractive and very well located in the old town of Spello. The owner, Norrie, went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed for a very relaxed and enjoyable stay. She even met us at the station and arranged to pick us up when our 3 day stay was over. The cottage was immaculately clean and Norrie also provided ample breakfast and snack supplies. There is also a lovely little terrace area to sit in. We loved Spello - a beautiful medieval village with plenty of charming places to eat and beUtiful old churches and stunning views of the Umbrian countryside.Less than a 10 minute walk away outside the walls in the new town, is a big supermarket. Assisi is 10 minutes by train and while we enjoyed very much our time there, we were so glad we were staying in Spello where there are very few tourists. Thank you Norrie for a very relaxed and happy time in your lovely cottage. We would certainly recommend it - and Spello - to anyone wanting a retreat from the more hectic pace of the big Italian towns.

The apartment was as advertised, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The amount of food and drink Nori provided would have lasted us two weeks rather than the week we stayed. While the apartment exceeded our expectations the service by Nori was what we remember most. When we arrived we called Nori to let her know we were in the parking lot but couldn't find the apartment. She had her friend Valentina who spoke excellent English call us back. We were in the wrong parking lot. Valentina drove around until she found us then led us to the correct lot (it was easy to get in and out of and always had space). Valentina then hauled our luggage up to the apartment, our car was too big to get closer. When we asked about a supermarket Valentina and Nori drove us to the market and waited while we shopped. The second night Valintina called us to make sure we had no problems. Nori gave us recommendations and directions to several restaurants that were very good. When several items were left in the apartment when we left Nori offered to drive halfway to our next destination to return them. You might find a better apartment but you will not find better service.

This was our second fortnight's stay in Mansion Spello and every bit as relaxing as our first, with everything to the same high standard we had enjoyed on our last visit. An even more comprehensive "welcome pack" of food and drink awaited us on our arrival this time round. Nori really spares no effort to make you feel very welcome. We came mainly on a walking holiday and enjoyed a good number of walks straight from the door using, a lot of the time, the excellent Club Alpino Italiano local walking map which was available in the apartment.

A clean and well-presented apartment in the very beautiful and historic village of Spello. The owner was absolutely delightful and although did not speak English, was ably assisted by her kind friend - we were made to feel very welcome, including kind gifts of fruit and local products! We stayed during a very hot spell during August and did struggle a bit without air-conditioning and only one fan between the two bedrooms. The kitchen in particular was very warm and would have benefited from some extra ceiling ventilation. Nevertheless, we had a lovely stay and thoroughly recommend the village and the apartment.

"Loved our stay in Spello and the apartment lived up to its description. One thing the description did not include was how very kind and welcoming the landlady was going to be. The public parking was a short stroll away, and the location of the apartment superb. Spello itself is a charming town and proved a great launching pad for exporations around Umbria. And for anyone in desperate need of chekcing e-mail, the city offers free wifi in the main square up the hill."

Spello is een stadje dat de verwachtingen alleen maar overtreft. De plek van ons appartement is ook erg aantrekkelijk, maar onze navigatie had het er moeilijk mee, en we belandden in een steil maar eng smal weggetje. Angstig achterwaarts. De WiFi ging via een apparaat dat ook onze gastvrouw niet helemaal duidelijk was, dus we hebben drie keer een periode zonder gezeten en dat geeft frustratie. We zaten vlak bij een heel sfeervol pleintje en we konden steeds gratis parkeren. Nori is allerhartelijks, maar spreekt zelf geen woord Engels. Ze zorgt voor een 'startpakket voor het ontbijt en gaf ons zelfs afscheidskadootjes mee. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien, maar je moet van prullaria houden.

Héél bijzonder om te logeren in het prachtige huis van Signora Nori in hartje van het historische stadje Spello! Alles zó net, zó gezellig aangekleed, huiselijk, gerieflijk, ruim genoeg om er met 3 volwassenen te verblijven! Alles aanwezig van gerief zowel in de keuken als in de badkamer! Ook wasmachine! En vooral héél vriendelijke, meegaande, inlevende Signora Nori die alle uitleg geeft over het huis en de.omgeving en héél bezorgd is voor de huurders! Hartelijk DANK! Salve, abbiamo soggiornato io e mia moglie nell'incantevole e bellissima Casa Flora, un appartamento perfetto in tutto. Pulizia incredibile, arredamento impeccabile e colazione abbondantissima. la struttura si presenta molto singolare. Insomma tutto straordinariamente perfetto. L'appartamento e super attrezzato e molto confortevole, luminoso, e la posizione fantastica.Credo che trovare una struttura simile a Casa Flora sia un' utopia. La proprietaria signora Concetta, e' una donna fantastica, molto premurosa ed attenta in tutto; non ci sono parole per descriverla una vera mamma con un cuore grandissimo. Insomma raccomando la struttura Casa Flora a tutti coloro che vogliono soggiornare in questa bellissima citta'.

Penso proprio che la deliziosa Casa Flora sia difficile da dimenticare! Sono stata ospite di questa struttura dal 16 al 19 settembre 2016 e desidero condividere le mie impressioni e il mio entusiasmo. E' uno spazioso elegante e comodissimo appartamento, arredato con estrema cura: con comode poltrone, bel salotto con angolo lettura, ampie camere silenziose, grande e attrezzatissima cucina. Ottimamente tenuto, fornito di tutto il necessario, incantevole. Fantastica la posizione, nel centro storico di Spello, a pochi passi da tutti i suoi tesori d'arte, ma tranquillo e silenzioso, circondato da una bella e antica corte. Ricca la colazione. Impagabile la grande cortesia della proprietaria, discreta ma attenta ai tuoi bisogni e straordinariamente accogliente. Piacevolissima riposante piccola vacanza in una casa dalle finestre fiorite, tutta chiara e luminosa, in un ambiente perfetto.

Era um meraviglioso soggiorno a Spello. Nella città e nel dintorno sono molte belle cose da scoprire: L'arte, la natura e ottimi ristoranti. La casa e arredato con stile, molto accogliente, pulitissimo e e con tutte le cose che servono per un soggiorno commodo e piacevole. La struttura e molto tranquilla sebene si trovi in centro storico. Anche è facile di parcheggiare graduitamente nelle vicinanze. La simpatica proprietaria Nori è molto gentile e disponibile per qualsiasi neccessarità. Una Casa da raccommandare in ogni caso.

Io, mio marito nicola e il piccolo Santiago di appena 5 mesi abbiamo soggiornato a Spello in quest bellissima dimora per goderci al meglio l' infiorata. La casa era fornita di tutto il Necessario e molto ben rifinita. La signora Nori é stata gentilissima e accogliente. Torneremo sicuramente a trovarla.

Ho trascorso un piacevolissimo soggiorno insieme a tre amiche. Spello è un bellissimo borgo dal quale si possono raggiungere facilmente gli altri luoghi d'interesse come Assisi, Todi, Norcia, Castelluccio di Norcia e Orvieto.. La casa è dotata di qualsiasi comfort e la signora Nori è una persona molto cordiale e disponibile per qualsiasi tipo di informazione. Consigliamo questo tipo di vacanza per godere dei magnifici paesaggi che offre questa regione in completo relax e provare gli ottimi piatti della cucina umbra.
