Characterful, spacious historic accommodation in a perfect location for visiting Spello with everything you need. The host went out of his way to help in any way we needed without being intrusive.

What a lovely surprise. It is a full, very large, apartment with beautiful furnishings and decor. The furnishings took on even more meaning when Claudio, the fantastic host, explained how many of the pieces had come from his mother, grandmother, and late brother. Felt as if we were staying in a family home rather than a rental apartment. Very special! It’s very comfortable, quiet, and centrally located. We didn’t cook at all, but if we had wanted to all the necessary equipment was available in the fully stocked kitchen. As mentioned before, Claudio is so kind. He picked us up and took us back to the train station and made sure we had a good understanding of the apartment and all the spots of interest in beautiful Spello and further afield.

Only one drawback that isn’t actually about the apartment. Breakfast options are slim. No restaurants nearby are open for breakfast and all we could find were some cookies and packaged pastries from a small shop on the square. With a car I’m sure there is a grocery store nearby but on foot we didn’t find one. There is a coffee and a coffee maker provided in the apartment though.

Excellent apartment, very big, very clean, in the very centre of the town. We had some problems driving thru the town centre (wrong navigation instructions), so the owner came and showed us the way to the apartment. After that he showed us a parking place nearby (about 3 mins on foot). Highly recommended!!

If I could give Claudio better than 10 out of 10 I would, he is so so kind to come and get us and save us an hour of public transport! The location is FANTASTIC right in the centre. The house is immaculately clean and spacious. The beds are so comfortable. Everything you need is here. I loved the antiques and their significance. Claudio and Emanuela ensure you have everything from coffee, washing machine to every phone number you could need and suggestions of places to go. Highly recommended.

The apartment was a real find. it is very central but totally quiet, large and comfortable.

Casa Emanuela is an absolute gem! Very comfortable and beautifully decorated traditional home in old town, excellent location within easy walking distance to all the sites and good restaurants Free parking nearby. A fabulous base for exploring the amazing villages and towns in Umbria. But 2 things make Casa Emanuela exceptional. First , it’s delightful owner Claudio, is extraordinarily helpful, warm and welcoming. on arrival, He went out of his way to explain the history and traditions of beautiful Spello, to take us thru the excellent guide he’d prepared of the myriad of beautiful places and sites to visit in the area. He also responded immediately to any requests for assistance during our stay. Secondly, the traditional furnishings have been maintained, but Claudio and Emanuela have added many beautiful paintings,and ornaments , so that you feel you are staying in a lovely home. They’ve also modernized it to ensure your stay is very comfortable- central heating, dishwasher, washing machine, fabulous coffee maker with very generous supply of delicious coffee.

The apartment is large and locate at the centre of the old town. The host is helpful and thank for her husband to drive us to the railway station.

Lovely stay in an authentic apartment in the heart of Spello. The care and pride of ownership of the apartment was obvious. We enjoyed meeting the owners upon check in and hearing the history of the apartment and it's furnishings. There was lots of space in this 2 bedroom apartment. The kitchen was very well appointed with everything you need to cook a meal. We highly recommend staying here.

it was spacious and well appointed. Great location and they always say location, location, location. Claudio and Emanuela were gracious hosts and went out of their way to help make us comfortable. Claudio and Emanuela went way above and to the top- in excellence in our opinion. I would recommend their place to all friends and family and even strangers!! Couldn't fault this beautiful, spacious apartment right in the main street of old Spello. Claudio picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. A kind, generous host who grew up in Spello and clearly loves to share his passion for the region.

The apartment is located in the historic center of Spoleto, a medieval town in Umbria. The apartment is very large, it has two double bedrooms, a kitchen with all the facilities, a large bathroom and a very spacious living room. I recommend this apartment to everyone.

I loved the apartment, the kitchen and supplies were clean, new and plenty, and the rooms were beautiful. The location of the apartment was perfect but even more I was impressed by the kindness and hospitality of Claudio! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

A lovely apartment in a great position in the town. A very friendly and helpful host.

Everything was perfect.

Central location. Lots of space. Clean and comfortable. Easy communication. The owners were so nice people. Claudio even picked us up at the station, and brought us back again. Though centrally located on the main Street through this beautiful city, the apartment was very quiet.

There was just a very small fan to cool down. A big one under the ceiling would be better.

Close to the train station and the historical centre. Everything was great. Big apartment. The owners are really friendly.

Very nice place, right near the entrance to the town. We appreicated that the owner spoke English.

Great location and a beautiful building. We are doing the Camino de Francesco and it is right on the path and very close to the end of the day’s walk. Claudio was so helpful and recommended a wonderful restaurant for dinner. The apartment was comfortable and clean. I highly recommend it!

Casa di Emanuela a Spello è splendida. Posizione, servizi, pulizia, così come gentilezza e professionalità del gestore garantiscono quanto di meglio mi possa aspettare in un alloggio di vacanza, ancor più in considerazione del rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Posizione ottima, casa grande, letti abbastanza comodi, cucina attrezzata, facilità di check-in e check-out

Casa apparentemente pulita ad altezza d'occhio ma, in realtà, molto sporca. Abbiamo trovato tazze, pentole, piatti lasciati sporchi e con incrostazioni di cibo seccato; vetri delle finestre sporchi, dentro e fuori; inoltre, la casa è piena di soprammobili impolverati, come i ripiani su cui poggiano. Nonostante le segnalazioni agli host, non è stata mandata una squadra di pulizia. La camera da letto con l'affresco ha vistose crepe che corrono lungo tutto il soffitto e ha l'intonaco scrostato e caduto lungo tutte le putrelle. Il soffitto del bagno ha l'intonaco scrostato. I termosifoni poggiano su lastre di polistorolo a vista. Nonostante i reclami, non sono state offerte soluzioni concrete, dunque siamo stati costretti a contattare l'assistenza clienti di booking e ad andare via con un giorno di anticipo. Con l'intervento di booking abbiamo ottenuto almeno un rimborso a poco più della notte non goduta.

Tutto! Nel cuore del borgo:ideale per esplorarlo in lungo e largo! Casa grande e accogliente. Con tutte gli elettrodomestici di cui potrebbe aver bisogno una famiglia di 5 persone.

Se proprio devo trovare il pelo nell'uovo, direi il materasso ed il cuscino:avendo fatto 4 notti, a lungo andare schiena e collo ne hanno risentito.

Casa accogliente e pulita in pieno centro di Spello. Claudio è stato estremamente disponibile e di supporto. Parcheggio fuori le Mura, anche gratuito, molto vicino. Ritorneremo.

Keine air condition, nur ein Ventilator, die beiden Schlafzimmer sind miteinander verbunden, d.h. Eine Person muss durch das Zimmer der anderen Person gehen. Sehr langsames Internet
