Superb
Wonderful location and an attentive and kind host. The house was minutes from the main square in Spello, one of Umbria's most beautiful cities. The house was large and very comfortable. Nearly perfect stay.
Not a problem of this house or host, but of Spello. The walk from the public lot is long and up steep stairs and hills. The elevator for the town never worked while we were there. It was tough coming back by car late at night to make the climb. Our stay was over 2 weeks and we are a family of chefs, so we do cook for ourselves often. The kitchen, while large and beautiful was not completely equipped. BUT for most people it would be more than enough.
