Central, lovely, quiet, and charming with a fabulous host.

The host met us and oriented us to the house, which we really appreciate. We loved the juicer and made fresh orange juice every morning, everything worked perfectly in the house, the view out the bedside window is fantastic. Theire are measuring cups and spoons! The location is great and we thoroughly enjoyed walking and dining in the charming village of Spello and doing the walk to Assisi.

Not a dislike, but do bring your own shower soap and cooking oil.

This stay exceeded all my expectations! The hospitality of Francesco and Silvia was truly exceptional – they were always available and responded quickly to all my questions. The apartment is spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed. By the way, kitchen and bathroom are recently renovated. You can really feel the love and care put into every detail. Spello itself is absolutely magical, with breathtaking views and a unique charm. The apartment is located right in the heart of the historical center, in such a picturesque little town that it almost feels unreal – like you’re walking through a dream. What really stood out to me were the small details. I travel a lot and stay in many different apartments through Booking, but it’s rare to find a place so well-prepared. There was everything I could possibly need from the moment I arrived – toilet paper, paper towels, liquid soap, even coffee. These little things make a big difference, especially when you’re just settling in and don’t have anything with you yet. This apartment is absolutely worth every cent, and it’s the kind of place that you simply must experience. I will definitely be coming back!

Beyond amazing

I travel a lot, but I’ve never experienced such warmth and care as I did here. Francesco and Silvia, the hosts, are simply exceptional — kind, attentive, always available, and truly welcoming in a way that touches the heart. The apartment itself is extraordinary. It’s located in a historic building in beautiful Spello, Umbria, yet inside it’s spotlessly clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped, the bed is super comfortable, and everything feels both authentic and fresh. The view from the window is pure peace — breathtaking and calming. Staying here feels like stepping into a different time, but with every modern comfort at your fingertips. This experience exceeded every expectation I had. I can’t imagine a better place to stay — in terms of both the location and the people. If you’re coming to Umbria, don’t think twice. This is the place.

Perfect accommodation in Spello with amazing hosts who are willing to go out of their way to help

Francesco picked me up (AND dropped me off) at the station. The hospitality from him and his sister was absolutely amazing and their apartment is a wonderful centrally located space at the top of Spello. It's a 15 minute walk to and from the station, but they were kind enough to drive me to and from. The apartment is HUGE. Tons of space and had everything you could need for short term and long term stays. You absolutely should stay here if you come to Spello!

I really enjoyed my entire stay here. Silvia even reached out to me the night before to make sure I had a ride down to the station the next day. It is clear this family knows what they are doing and they are so kind.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. A wonderful apartment that is super clean and comfortable. We met Silvia upon arrival who gave us all the information that we would need and we knew that she was always just a call away if we would have needed anything. You can’t go wrong if you stay here! Very friendly owner Sylvia, who spoke excellent English. Arranged for transport to and from the station. Very quiet at night. View from bedroom window great. Hot shower, good water pressure. Dishes etc all very clean. Wifi works well

My Spello escape.

Sylvia and Francesco went above and beyond to help me during my stay. Francesco offered a ride to and from the train station, which was welcome in the July heat. The apartment is so comfortable and quiet. The view from the bedroom is sublime. A wonderful place to escape and relax.

No air conditioning, but I knew there was none. Two strong fans were provided, and the evening breezes provided cool.

I LOVED staying at Gabri's Home in beautiful Spello. Silvia was wonderful, making sure that I had everything I needed. Francesco very kindly picked me up from the station. The home was comfortable and spotless with a bedroom view to the Umbrian Hills. A 5 minute walk into the "main" street with restaurants etc. Great location!I look forward to returning. Grazie mille!! ❤

Clean, spacious and comfortable apartment in heart of historic centre

Location was in the heart of the historic centre, only 5 minutes to main piazza and supermarket . The apartment is spacious with separate lounge and kitchen. Very clean with all amenities. It was part of an old monastery so it has character and a beautiful view of the countryside from the bedroom window. The host was also readily available for any assistance and arranged a pick up for me from train station.

Ottima posizione al centro di Spello e facilmente raggiungibile dalla stazione. Inoltre, il proprietario è stato gentilissimo a venirci a prendere e riaccompagnare alla stazione

Sicuramente indimenticabile

Che dire, la sistemazione in pieno centro a Spello. Non si può dire che Spello abbia un centro storico in quanto è tutto un borgo medievale stupendo al quale si deve assolutamente dedicare una giornata. Posizione strategica per chi vuole girare un pò l'Umbria. Settimana molto calda ma non umida. Di notte si dorme benissimo anche senza condizionatore con le finestre aperte (non temete le zanzare). P.S. Il paesaggio della foto è la vista che si ha dalla camera da letto. A voi i commenti
