A peaceful and charming escape, even if just for a night.

We had a short but memorable stay at B&B De Vlaschaerd during a work trip, spending just one night there. The location is truly special – a beautifully converted old factory surrounded by nature. The rooftop pool looked incredible, suspended above the building with views of the landscape, but sadly we didn’t have time to enjoy it. That alone gives us a reason to come back. The apartment was clean and met all our needs for a quick stay. The bedrooms were a bit dark, but it wasn’t an issue as we only slept there. The living area, on the other hand, was bright and welcoming, with a large window and a small outdoor space with a comfy sofa – a nice touch. The host was very welcoming and made us feel right at home, adding to the overall warmth of the experience. A unique place with a lot of character – we’ll definitely return when we have more time to enjoy it fully.

Quiet and comfortable. Rural location

Clean, comfortable, quiet and quirky. I love the use reclaimed items and was relaxed with my dogs here with lovely country walks. Plenty of hot water and a large fridge. Only 40 minutes to Ghent Expo

Having a secure area to let the dogs off would be the icing on the cake. It was quiet when I stayed but the glass door means dogs can see out and may bark when people pass, but it would not out me off staying again.

Great - Wish we could stay longer

As we came with our bikes for some rides and races the location was the best. It had all we needed. It was spacious, clean, well equipped for cooking, resting and getting in and out for cycling. The owner was very friendly and supplied us with everything we needed. We would really like to visit again.

For using using the oven or bread toaster we had to play it to a cable extender. But still it was fine and practical.

A convenient spot to visit a lovely region with plenty to do from history to culture in the towns nearby. Everything was as we expected. We received a warm welcome from the hosts. Their communication before and during the visit was excellent.

Beuatiful and serene location to stay at, there was a lot of space and everything I needed was provided for. Definitely a good price/quality.

The outside furniture could have been a bit cleaner, the bathtub was old so you have to hold the shower handle and the wifi didn't work that well.

Not critical problems. The shower room is bit small. The road from Car parking place to apartment front door is bit far, also too dark in night time. But these are only small problems.

The owner is very helpful and welcoming and the location is ideal to visit Ypres (30 mins). Very quiet and peaceful. We have stayed here twice & would definitely return.

The kitchen and dining equipment would now benefit from an overhaul - only 2 teaspoons & no breadknife for example. Only a slight inconvenience. No freezer compartment in the very large fridge was a minor nuisance. Easily overcome by the helpful owner who froze our ice packs willingly.

Heerlijk rustige B&B en toch heel dicht bij Kortrijk. Alles was schoon, duidelijke communicatie en een heerlijk bad. Ik kom graag nog een keer terug als het wat warmer is om ook van het terras te genieten.

Rustige buurt, en toch vlakbij stad. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam onthaal. Parking aan ingang, goede wandelmogelijkheden.

Zetels konden iets meer comfortabel zijn.

Au calme, à la campagne et proche de Courtrai

Accueil agréable et efficace. 2 nuits avec mon chien pour l'EurodogShow de Courtrai (10 minutes en voiture). Belle restauration de ce bâtiment industriel. Calme et confortable - Bien équipé côté cuisine. Nous reviendrons.

L'allée qui mène aux chambres pourrait être un peu plus éclairé.

Prima weekend gehad met hele groep.

We hadden 3 verblijven bij elkaar. Lekker terras in de zon en een zwembadje. We zaten op 12 minuten rijden van het bierkasteel waar we een bruiloft hadden. Parkeren voor de deur. We hoefden niet direct om 11.30 te vertrekken.

Het is een B&B zonder de 2e B van breakfast. De tocht naar het zwembad is enigszins vreemd.
