A very comfortable stay in a great location

We had a very spacious room with a large modern bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the lady on reception was friendly and helpful. The hotel was well located and within easy walking distance of everything.

Maybe tea/coffee making facilities in the room would have been nice.

We had an upgrade to the neighboring hotel, it was spacious and the room was lovely decorated. Building, staff and atmosphere are all charming. Being able to check out at 12 is a real plus for rainy mornings. Gym looked great but we had no time to test it. Would recommend staying in this cosy hotel (messeyne) while you are in Kortrijk

Brilliant! We are already talking about going back soon.

We received a message prior to our trip to the square hotel saying we had been given an upgrade to a sister hotel, hotel Messeyne. It was very close to the hotel we booked and was beautiful! The room was massive with a large shower area and lots of seating. We also had a coffee machine in the room as well as a mini fridge, hairdryer and iron.

Our second stay in Kortrijk.

Good location, just on the edge of town. Our room was on 3rd floor with a comfortable bed. The room had A/C which was quite welcome as the weather was very warm.

There was no facility in the room to make a cup of coffee in the morning. The parking was an underground car park, it was quite expensive.

Perfect location, comfortable bed, friendliness of the staff. We could check-in a bit earlier which was really nice given that we wanted to head straight to the festival.

Airco did not work so well, neither the exhauster in the bathroom.

convenient for Calais and Dunkirk, lovely town and very comfortable

just short of Dunkirk on return to Uk it has a good position in the town and very comfortable and easy parking. we happened to be there while the town had a fantastic music festival which was absolutely superb and so much fun we might have to come again next year!

Room was small and did not live up to the standards, pictures show a very optimistic view but reality was a let down. Hotel felt old, wrapped in a wannabe fancy/new wallpaper... Breakfast was OK, but expensive for what was served. Free parking that was advertised means 3 spots for a hotel of 126 rooms, of course all taken so we had to pay an additional 26 euros for parking... Not a great stay to be honest.

Unfortunately, we got the most noisy room in the hotel, I suppose. We heard noise from an elevator, from an air conditioner inside the room and the view was to air conditioner's blocks, which were also noisy during all night

Very friendly receptionist, a bar, nice sized room on a top floor as requested, view of the park in front of hotel, comfy beds, ample space to put baggage on, comft bed, soft towels, modern bathtoom

only a glass door between the room and bathroom, that does not prevent sound or light passing through. In other words no privacy when going on the toilet. There is a reason people have not been putting toilets in open spaces for thousands of years. Eventually even the so called "architects" will catch up to it..

Comfortable and central but limited parking options

The hotel is very well located and we enjoyed being in the heart of the city. The room was spotless clean and had everything we needed. I especially appreciated the black out curtains.

The reception is not permanently staffed so there is some waiting time before you can check in. The only true negative point is the absence of parking (even though we announced we needed some on arrival). There were only 3 spots at the hotel (all occupied) and we therefore needed to park nearby for an extra 17 euros. I wish we could have received at least a voucher..
