Warm and friendly host and a comfortable and spacious room

Thomas is a warm and friendly host, who makes you feel welcome at once. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but delicious.

The location is okay, but it wasn't very easy or comfortable to take my dog out for a walk. We could only walk along a busy road or get lost in a neighbourhood with almost only dead end roads. So this is only an inconvenience if you have a dog. ;-)

we liked everything there. It was extremely comfortable and pleasant to stay. It was quiet and we could rest nicely after a long drive. The breakfast that Thomas prepared was lovely. They thought there for every detail and the guest house has a really nice ambient.

Incredibly cosy and charming place with a very friendly and helpful host Thomas. In the morning of Sunday we found that our accumulator battery went off and Thomas was immediately there to start our car from his.

Excellent, great, convenient!

Thomas was the ideal host! We were very delayed in our travel to the property, we kept Thomas advised, and in turn he was extremely helpful. We only stayed one night and if we are in the area in the future would be only too happy to stay again. The room was ideal and the breakfast just what we wanted. We cannot recommend Thomas and Guesthouse Kathome any higher. Thank you Thomas.

Great host and good location.

Thomas is a very nice and welcoming host. He made us feel welcome and helped to fulfill our wishes. Breakfast was also quite good with fresh fruits and Orange juice. The rooms were quite clean and cozy.

The Outside area could be a bit more cozy.

Great base for exploring Lille and the surroundings

what a lovely find of a place! Thomas was so friendly and accommodating that we couldn’t ask for a better host! Room was comfortable and had everything you’d need. Breakfast was great with fresh orange juice, pastries, and bread. Would come back again.

the room can get a little bit stuffy as it only has a sliding glass door and no other windows. Otherwise everything was great!

Very nice hosts, very good breakfast! Perfect for a stopover. Nice shower, everything clean. Dog friendly. Quiet night. We recommend staying there. Would have liked nice weather to enjoy the patio.

Didn't feel like it was good value for money. Breakfast great.

Breakfast was exceptional. Thomas has a gift of just making you feel like old friends. Very welcoming. Stayed during a heatwave and the room was incredibly hot and stuffy. A fan was provided but it had no chance of being able to effectively cool the room.

Although it's a little eclectic, we found it just messy outside and in need of a good clean-up. It was difficult to sleep as the room was hot.

Emplacement idéal. Petit déjeuner varié, copieux, co'fitures maison, le tout servi avec beaucoup de gentillesse par notre hôte. Espace extérieur agréable,terrasse bien orientée

Comfortabel tussen twee steden in

De host is super vriendelijk, hij had voor ons de sleutel in de deur achtergelaten zodat we naar binnen konden. In de ochtend maakt hij een voortreffelijk ontbijt klaar. De kamer is eenvoudig maar wel voorzien van een comfortabel bed en badkamer. De ligging is prettig met een supermarkt aan de overkant op loopafstand heb je ook nog een aantal heel behoorlijke restaurantjes zitten. Verder is het een goede buurt met mooie huizen, leuk voor een wandeling.

Het rook een beetje naar riool aan de buitenkant van onze kamer. In de kamer zaten ook verschillende rioolvliegjes, weliswaar rook het binnen gewoon fris.
