Very comfortable three night stay

A very comfortable budget hotel. It is located opposite the Mercure metro station on line 2 so is an easy connection if arriving in Lille by Eurostar. Breakfast was an extra but the continental selection was very good. We stayed in Tourcoing rather than central Lille as we were attending a show at Le Grand Mix which was a twenty minute walk away or a four stop ride on the metro to Colbert station.

The tea/coffee rations in the room were rather poor. One sachet of coffee & sugar each plus one tea bag is not enough.

Disappointing

The air con unit in the bedroom was amazing, cooled the room down within minutes.

It's very dated and rooms are small. The plug socket was hanging off the wall and the bath was dirty.

Friendly staff, poor sound insulation.

Friendly staff, easy parking, quiet neighbourhood. Helpful message with navigation instructions. Metro station a couple of hundred metres away, very handy.

Sound insulation is poor - sound of people talking at 04:30. Quite a busy route (road) to reach it.

Very poor

The service of the reception was not really friendly but my problem was that in the first nigth I was bitten by bugs. The next morning I declare it to the receptionist and they change me room . It the next days they change me room. In that room I had not problem.

The family room that we ordered basically 2 rooms with connecting door. There is a bathtub and shower, so we can choose. There is electric car charging available which need hotel card to activate it. The hotel near to 2 supermarkets. The male staff who handle check in was friendly and helping us.

The female staff who handle check out in the morning was not friendly. No smile and not willing to help. The staff has difficulty to speak English.

Staff were very polite and helpful. We were happy with the location as tube station was only 1 minute walk away from the hotel. The room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable. We loved the breakfast as wel,l especially those mini sausages.

The room was not really sound-proof, we could hear other customers putting their stuff away during the night. If we stay there again will try to request a room on the top floor end of coridor.

Superb

Very cozy little hotel. Room is clean and comfortable. Location is great because of metro station in 1 min walk. Staff is welcoming and great. I really enjoyed my stay there and definitely recommend.

The only thing I have missed is a mini fridge.

In three words: - Clean, the room was very clean. - Comfort, the beds and shower were comfortable to use. - Friendly staff and good options to get something to drink.

There was one staff member (old man) who didnt want to help us use the tables, while the other night the other members where very happy to help us. Each year we visit the same hotel and this was the first time a staff member was like this.

Not recommended

The two ladies were friendly but the pictures shown on booking. Com certainly don't represent the state of the hotel

The staff were very friendly, however after paying the full amount of the room in advance, they blocked the full amount again on my card which I find extremely odd and have never stayed anywhere that does this. In the two rooms the electrical sockets were hanging off the wall which is extremely dangerous (family rooms!!)
