Frustrating

Breakfast is poor value for the money. Afew pastries + cold meats, rubbery scrambled eggs, not very much fruit & greasy French toast. Better value at any coffee place around hotel

There's no thermostat in the room, can't control temperature, impossible to sleep in 25 C room. It took 3 days + increased frustration for staff to finally turn off heat in room.

Nice hotel, with dodgy management.

The hotel is nice, in a good location, with a generous breakfast.

My personal information was compromised during the booking process, when the hotel requested to send my details and copies of documents via email, and a scam attempt was made by somebody who held the booking details and impersonated the hotel. The information provided on breakfast price was confusing, i.e. one price was charged by the guests of the hotel who went at the restaurant and a different price was charged by those who paid before at the reception. The English translation of the leaflet available in the room for the towels makes no sense.

Location is great, clean rooms and professional and friendly staffs. We were travelling as a family of three with a 18months old baby. The provided us a cot bed and baby bath which were in great condition.

Nothing but if they had a nice cafe that you have added a value. But it is easily accessible to cafes and restaurants .

Clean, modern hotel in a good location. Oceanographic, aquarium and shopping centre with many cafes, and restaurants nearby. Found on street parking. Recommend the spa - good facilities and price.

In Valencia for weeklong business trip. Couldn’t fault hotel, found it to be excellent.

Clean modern hotel with helpful friendly staff. Good location for oceanographic and science museum. Short bus ride to old town and beach. Beside two large shopping centres.

Decent stay

- The location is great, just a short walk from the Oceanografic and a mall. Super convenient. - Breakfast was really good, lots of variety and everything tasted fresh. - Reception staff were very friendly and attentive, always ready to help. - The room was spacious and had nice touches like slippers and bathrobes.

- The elevators were a disaster. Incredibly slow, I actually waited around 20 minutes for one when checking out with my luggage. - The whole place feels a bit dated. Furniture and decor definitely need a refresh. - The breakfast room is huge but completely lacks atmosphere. It felt more like eating in a school or office cafeteria than in a hotel. - Price was too high for what the hotel actually offers.

Great hotel but leave 30 mins early just to get lift downstairs

The hotel was fab.. great location, lovely staff and excellent breakfast buffet.

The only downfall it has are the lifts. I currently have a broken ankle so can't go down the stairs and I also have a child in a pram. This morning we waited 20 mins for a lift, in those 20 mins three lifts stopped on our floor and all were full, so we ended up finding another lift (I'm guessing it's the staff lift) where the stairs are and used that one.

A great hotel for a city break.

The location was great, it is a short walk to Oceanogràfic, close to shops and places to eat. The staff are very helpful, the rooms were really comfortable and the outdoor area and pool were fantastic.

Lovely city hotel in excellent location.

Lovely reception staff, bike hire, big comfy bed and nice clean room. The location is great - not far from the beach or main town. Great for a short stay.

The water in the swimming pool was cloudy (seemed a bit dirty) and the pool seating was ok but not very comfortable. For this reason we didn’t use it much and also the spa was closed which was a shame. But the garden is lovely and the pool bar is good.

A comfortable and well-located stay that made exploring the city super easy and enjoyable!

We had a great stay! The location is fantastic—just a short distance from the main attraction (Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias) and conveniently close to two large shopping malls. Getting to the city center was quick and easy, with an Uber ride costing around €8. Perfect spot for both sightseeing and shopping!

Location was very good. Room was clean and big enough. Reception looked really good. Staff was really friendly and helpful

Only 3 elevators, no stairs. You would need to queue to go up or down. Spa was not included and it was open to the public, making it quite busy. Gym was very small and with very limited equipment - ie dumbells only up to 10kg. Not ideal Toilet seat was really low, making it uncomfortable. Room window didn't close properly, making it very noisy as our room was facing the main road.

A perfect stay in beautiful Valencia

The room was very good - we were a family of 3 people. The room was very clean and comfortable. The cleanness was very good. The place of the hotel was very good - near the new town (Calatrava's buildings), near the park which is on the river's place, near a lot of shops, restaurants, bakeries. Many city transport lines are here, and also the subway is nearby. My family liked the hotel very much! There is a spa in the hotel also.

The price was just for the outside pool. The inside one was with additional payment for the spa.

Enjoyable

Staff extremely helpful and friendly, we arrived 5 hours early and check in was facilitated no problem without any extra cost, taxi arranged for airport during night by reception, location fabulous, shopping centre across street, 10 mins walk to aquarium, quality interior including glass elevator to take you to bedrooms 😁

Ok hotel standar rooms. Good position

The room service was not avalible without any advise. The bar also closed and not even possible to get a coffe after dinner. No boiler or coffe in the room. The cleaning lady enter no matter if you put the sign on the door. The room has a lot of lights cause the courtains are old and too short. A bit noisy , windows are not great and you can hear the car

Overnight stay at Primus

The staff were helpful. The room was clean. The restaurant was lovely.

The car parking was hidden and we wasted a lot of time in the busy afternoon traffic as we could see the hotel but couldn't stop with car to ask. At 4am we were woken by noisy people getting to their room beside ours and on the lift and the hotel should have been aware as they passed by reception that they were being noisy. The curtains allowed the lighting of the shopping centre to filter in to the room at night.

Bad

Having stayed at this hotel 4 turns this was definitely a shocking difference to my previous experiences. The air conditioning has been changed to a singular system so the room tempteture was really low. When I took a thermometer of the room ten it was 27 degree inside and most days were 30 a in 33 degrees outside - absolutely awful. Called reception 3 times did ring the night for anyone to come up and look at the room. Very uncomfortable for me and my 6 year old son The toilet handle broke 1 day in Reception wouldn’t book a taxi for us despite me asking them to charge it to the room when we were stranded in Valencia city - resulting in us having to catch a bus and have a civilian help guide us back to the hotel. Really really poor service this is my final stay at this hotel.

the female reception staff were sbrupt and unhelpful i booked a double bed and got twin beds they said we could change rooms but only if we checked out first waited 4 hrs and then dis check in all over again v poor! location was not great needed to take buses everywhere as v little within walking distance I would Not stay here again

Great hotel

The hotel was clean and tidy. The pool was really good and the spa was brilliant and a great value for money. The hotel is 10minutes walk from the metro and then 10minutes on the metro into the centre. The hotel is 5minute walk to the museum of sciences and the aquarium.

They need more sun beds by the pool and toilets out at the pool area.

Nice hotel and best location

Very nice and clean hotel with great facilities. Excellent location, just 10 minutes walk from the impressive Ciutat de las Arts. Many restaurants around. Outdoor pool is really appreciated in such a warm city as Valencia. Not very big but usually not overcrowded (I did not try in plain Summer) The Spa is great. It is worth paying 15 € for 90 minutes.

Some details should be improved. AC cannot be controlled from the room, only from reception. Not comfortable !! Wifi connection needs to update every time you come to the hotel. No wifi signal at the swimming pool. Check-in at 4 pm.

Great hotel

Had a fab weekend in Valencia, the rooms are clean and very comfortable. Had dinner in the restaurant one night and food was delicious, The staff were very friendly and helpful. Even though it is situated in a less historic area, it is a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The hop on and hop off bus stop is directly across the road and a great way to see the city. Lovely pool and overall very nice stay

The bathroom misses the basics of earbuds, cotton wipes and a shower cap - the provided shower gel and body lotion are okay.

Room was basic for a four star hotel eg poor quality pillows’- bed was on wheels like a hospital bed but in fairness the maintenance man came up & stabilised it. There were no extras like tissues - also I had to go to a local shop & buy hair conditioner. I found the reception staff a bit condescending which was a pity because there was no information in the room about hotel services- there was reference to a QR code but apparently it wasn’t operational so you had no information about breakfast times/ room service menu etc.
