Cozy Holiday weekend visit with a twist.

Nice location to visit the local Christmas markets in the surrounding area. The hotel was nicely decorated with a cozy charm, a quality breakfast. They accept pets and have parking when travel with a vehicle. Definitely a place for a romantic weekend gateway or small travel with the family.

I had previously paid online, the room stay, since the booking was non-refundable. It was simply just a one night stay. Everything about the hotel was good, until we checked out the following morning. All we needed to do was pay for our dog and breakfast. My wife went in the pay while I was with our dog and child setting up the car. She is a native French speaker, so I thought it was simple. However, this proved to be the opposite. The Hotel charged my wife for the whole stay, the room bill, when it was already paid. The hotel staff quickly realized that the room was paid through booking.com and they had incorrectly charged my wife's credit card the full amount. We asked to have the credit card reimbursed and be charged the correct amount, but they had several issues with their credit card machine that Sunday morning. We have reached out several times by calling the hotel and sending emails, to have my wife' s card reimbursed and pay the correct amount since I had already paid. It is a double charge, for the room, why is it difficult to just undo the second room charge. 4 days have passed and not once have they reached out to resolve the issue. We have received no response. We just needed to pay for the pet stay and breakfast, but they continuously ignored my wife's calls and emails. We have repeatedly tried to get this settled, but every time the owner is not present who can help fix this matter. It is a nice hotel, I'm just disappointed in the experience this small issue has caused and hoping for it to be reticified.

Overall it was a good stay for us. We booked 3 rooms for 7 people and there was plenty of room for everyone.

Rooms are spacious & clean with private bathroom upstairs. Foosball table available to use in main lounge area. Nice restaurant attached to Hotel. Limited parking available. Location was good for traveling to Europa Park. It was approx 40 min away, but an easy drive.

Staff was somewhat friendly. It just depended on who you got to help you. Limited parking available (aortic 6-7 spaces), so if they are all taken, then you have to look for parking on your own along the streets. No a/c, which was not as issue at the time we visited at the end of May, but could be very uncomfortable In the summer months.

Good hotel, good location

Room was clean and nicely decorated, the bed and the bathroom were both huge! Restaurant attached and the food was great. Small private parking and even a secure spot to keep bikes.

The breakfast was a little overpriced I find (in general!) for what it was. But there was plenty (buffet) and a good selection.

Zentrale Lage am Rande von Straßburg.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und ruhig gelegen. Das Badezimmer war größer als erwartet. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen.
