A great place to stay - something different.

Quaint old building in town but with secure off street parking. There are 3 rooms - 1 downstairs where we were and 2 upstairs. The kitchen / breakfast area is shared. The first 2 nights we were the only people there so we had the run of the place, but on our last night, all rooms were taken. Breakfast was great with juice, yoghurt, croissants, fresh bread, cheese, jams and coffee / tea. Used the tram to get into town - much easier than driving. The tram starts just up the road - a few minutes walk. Julian, the owner’s son was running the place whilst his mother was away - he was friendly and helpful.

Had a little trouble gaining access but it was soon sorted. As it is an old building, there was noise from people moving around upstairs on the last night.

This is a delightful place to stay, highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay with a lovely host in a beautifully restored traditional house. The breakfasts were delicious and the location was very convenient for day trips by tram to explore Strasbourg old town. We also appreciated the secure parking by the front door. The hospitality was outstanding and a highlight of our trip.

Même si ça s’est bien passé, nous ne reviendrons pas.

La décoration de la pièce commune pour le petit déjeuner est de qualité. De nombreux objets anciens et de valeur nous ont ravis. Le petit déjeuner était très correct.

Il n’y a pas de chauffage dans la chambre. L’isolation phonique est inexistante. Les chambres sont séparées par un plafond / plancher en bois qui transmet l’intégralité des pas en les amplifiants. Heureusement les autres hôtes étaient très bien élevés et ils ont limité les dégâts.

Etwas enttäuschend.

Ein außergewöhnliches uriges Ambiente, Tür an Tür mit der Gastgeberfamilie.

So besonders wie angegeben war das Frühstück nicht. Eher minimalistisch. Weniger Angebot zum Frühstück ist kaum möglich. 1 Baguette und 2 Croissants für uns beide. Niemand da zur vereinbarten Frühstückszeit.

Julien nous a accueilli dès notre arrivée très gentiment et nous a de suite guidé vers notre logement. Chambre très propre et totalement fonctionnelle. L'endroit est un peu retiré, ce que nous recherchions, au calme. Je recommande cet endroit proposant un petit resto super sympa non loin.

Super! Gerne wieder!

Das Häuschen ist total süß, wir haben uns sofort in die Unterkunft verliebt. Das Örtchen selber ist unspektakulär und die Lage gleich an der Straße nicht gerade malerisch, aber das Zimmer und das ganze Haus haben so viel Charme, dass sie die Lage wieder wettmachen. Wer nach Straßburg möchte, kann einfach in die Straßenbahn steigen, das ist natürlich super, und ein Badesee mit freiem Eintritt ist direkt in der Nähe. Laurence macht ein schönes Frühstück mit regionalen Produkten, und dass man die Küche mit nutzen kann, ist sehr praktisch. Was normalerweise in einer reinen Zimmer-Unterkunft problematisch ist (Wie schneide ich meine Melone? Wohin mit dem gekauften Käse? Kann ich mir zwischendurch mal einen Tee oder Kaffee machen?), ist hier kein Problem. Dass man das Auto im privaten Innenhof parken kann, ist sehr praktisch. Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohlgefühlt.

Das einzige, was uns gefehlt hat, sind ein paar Haken im Badezimmer; wir wussten irgendwie nicht, wohin mit den Handtüchern und dem Hänge-Kulturbeutel. Das ist aber auch schon alles :)

Nette Unterkunft, originell eingerichtet, sehr freundlich

Ein altes Fachwerkhäuschen, auch innen sehr hübsch mit alten Möbeln eingerichtet, Bad und WC modern ausgestattet. Sehr freundlicher, hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Kleines, gutes Frühstück mit köstlichen Zutaten. Gleich in der Nähe gutes elsässisches Restaurant.

An extrem heißen Tagen (wie wir sie erlebt haben) vielleicht nicht so empfehlenswert. Unser Gastgeber hat sich jedoch sehr bemüht, uns den Aufenthalt zu erleichtern und uns einen großen Ventilator ins Zimmer gestellt.

Essendo noi al primo piano, un po’ rumoroso se ci sono ospiti al piano superiore, logicamente essendo una struttura antica e con telai in legno. Non una critica ma solo un avviso per quelli che verranno dopo!

Besuch lohnt sich auf jedenfalls Vor allem wenn man es Uhrig bzw. Fachwerkhäuser mag

Sehr freundliches Personal und/ mit Hund, sehr hilfsbereit und sogar mit guten deutsch und englisch Kenntnissen. Zimmer bzw. das komplette Fachwerkhaus in sehr gut erhaltener zustand und sehr Uhrig, Bäckerei zwei Häuser weiter und Restaurants, Bahn und Bus Haltestellen und Supermarkt in der Nähe

Bei Anreise muss man sehr genau schauen da es in einer Kurve liegt und die Hausnummer nicht von weiten sichtbar wirkt und auch sehr wenig platz an Ort und stelle ist zum Parken um danach zu schauen. Leider der TV im Zimmer viel zu groß, nie genutzt aber passt auch leider nicht zu der Einrichtung.....sorry. Frühstück wenig Auswahl und daher auch nicht gerade viel...kein Obst, Joghurt x4- 6 versch. Sorten, Marmelade x6 versch. Sorten, Käse x4 versch. Sorten und etwas Brot...dazu etwas Kaffee allerdings ausreichend auf Wunsch und etwas Milch dazu... Leider nicht mein Ding, Sorry
