Unsafe access, poor lighting, unreliable locks, and no proper follow-up from the host.

Unfortunately, this was a very poor experience. Access to the property is complicated and unsafe, especially at night. The street was poorly lit, and the lighting inside the courtyard was very weak, making the gate lock difficult to see and operate properly. I was unable to open the gate myself and had to call the host. Only after that did someone come and open the gate for me. Due to the poor lighting and the condition of the locks, the situation escalated: the key then got stuck in the main door lock. After about 20 minutes, I managed to remove the key, without forcing anything. Because of this incident, I stayed only one night in the room and did not go out again, fearing that I might be locked outside once more. The next morning, I asked the host to come and collect the keys, as the same problem could have happened again. Although the host said they would come, they did not. In the end, I had no option but to leave the keys in the gate and leave the property. The combination of inadequate lighting, unreliable access, and lack of proper follow-up created significant discomfort and a strong feeling of insecurity. I have used Booking in many countries and have never experienced a situation like this. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this property.

Very clean, the owner was extremely helpful. The bed was comfortable, having the bathroom in the room was great. Also, decorated with taste and the room is very spacious.

No air conditioning or fan - considering the temperatures over 40 degrees, it was a very big downside. Also, the water in the shower was closer to cold than to warm - a good thing when it is so hot, but it isn't like this every day.

The room situated at the back, separated from rest was not really up to my standards, but the ones in the front building looked more new...

I would suggest changing the shower curtain before it gets molded from the water... I think it is not that expensive. It is really not hygienic. Also, because I pay attention to details, the appliences getting dirty from dust also does not give a good impression. When you see these aspects, makes you wonder how well was the rest cleaned? Maybe it was cleaned, but seeing these details just makes you wonder... Also the not very cleaned little carpet from the floor. Another negative aspect was the smell. I could not stay the second time there with that smell from canalizatoon probably and also "old".

Good

Simple and affordable, had a fridge and private bathroom with shower, the bed somewhat hard which i prefer, there was also a kitchen and washing machine in the common area, less than a minute away from the tram station, 20-25 minutes on foot from the city center. It has bikes for rental which is a plus. Top option for me if visiting Timișoara.

Small things here and there, didn't used the tv but the remote was dirty, some insects manage to find their way in, so a insect trap wouldn't hurt having around.

Pleasant facility quite near the city centre of Timisoara

We got a pretty clean, spacious room. Location was fine, a 20 minute walk from the city centre. Our host - Mircea - was super kind and helpful. Good prize/quality ratio.

Our room had no windows to the outside, which ended up with a stuffy climate inside our room. We wish we were informed about that fact before our arrival. The extra bed was rather uncomfortable. The bathroom had some spots of mould.

Lovely place!

Very quiet and cozy place. It was like a cotage with a private shower and toilet. The owner was so helpful and friendly!

The day was raining and cold I stayed and there was no heating equipment in the room.

Lovely, charming and warm

We went there last year and we liked it so much that we booked the same place again. Same warm and welcoming host, same charming house. The room was even nicer (and bigger) than last year and the bed was the biggest I've seen. I'm sure this is the place we will stay again when we will travel to Timisoara in the future.

Superb

Privacy, enough space and amenities. Fridge and hair dryer in the room. The room was really warm and cozy, and has warm water all the time. Location is also good (close to a non stop store - Profi, pharmacy, farmers market and next to tram 7) and in walking distance to the city center. The place also takes you back in time.

Just one kitchen which was shared (and was occupied by a guest most of the time... No fault of the host though, just one guest who forgot the kitchen is shared and others might need it too).

My room was super clean and spacious. The location is a short walk from the city centre, I felt very safe in the area and the street is super quiet. Also the welcome was warm, overall a great experience.
