Very nice couple. Because I went there for a business trip, i didn't rent a car, so it is very difficult for me to arrive and leave, but the host asked his friend to drive me to the customer's company, again, nice couple.

The property had onsite parking and in a rural setting. The owners were very helpful and kind. The breakfast was excellent. They welcomed our dog. The restaurant that was recommended was very good.

Good Location, Excellent Breakfast, Convivial Hosts.

Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast which had plenty of variety for all tastes. From cooked egg & bacon to various cheeses, meats, bread, croissants, smoked salmon, yoghurts and fresh fruit cocktail, The hosts were very welcoming and could not do enough to ensure our stay was stress free. The fact that there is a bar attached to the accommodation is very convenient after a busy day out. Warning! The beer is strong! :) We will certainly be returning.

Friendly welcome, comfortable room and breakfast fit for a king!

A spacious comfortable room. The owners were friendly and made us and our dog, Tuppence very welcome. We had a good night's sleep and were able to explore nearby Ypres/Ieper (beautiful city worth visiting!) before driving home to the Netherlands. An excellent stopover after our 3 week stay in England. My husband also enjoyed the Belgian beer he shared with our host. The continental breakfast really was fit for a king.

There were some mosquitoes in the room after a spell of very hot weather in July. I had insect repellent with me but the owners may consider placing mosquito frames for an improved guest experience.

The best continental breakfast we've ever had since travelling abroad - couldn't be faulted Host was very welcoming even though his English was fairly limited.

Very climatic place, clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed. But the main advantage is a hospitable host and a unique atmosphere. And of course what we were waiting for the most - breakfast. Reading reviews we set the bar very high. After arriving to breakfast we were awaited by a lavishly set table, which could satisfy 3 times as many people. Regional bread and a range of delicious cheeses stood out. Meats and other products were also very high quality. Freshly squeezed juice and fruit cup, although delicious, were not a surprise to us because we read the reviews. It was the first time we met with such a delicious breakfast and such a great host. At the next opportunity we will be happy to return there. Best regards to the host.

Perfect location within the hop fields of Poperinge

I was meeting a friend to tour a couple of hop fields and breweries in the area. This was the absolute best place to be! The owner was incredibly nice. I spoke about music with him and learned that he was a musician. He showed me his absolutely gorgeous and pristine vintage Fender Stratocaster. The assortment of locally sourced foods for the breakfast was the cherry on top. I will definitely stay there again next time I am in the area.

Restful Night

The owner was extremely helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, and very quiet. The best part of all was the breakfast; we had read reviews so were looking forward to it and were still surprised at the sheer size of the offerings and the beautiful layout. The location was also great, and we enjoyed a fun evening in the town square in Poperinge where there happened to be a carnival going on. The next morning we had an easy 10 minute drive to Saint Sixtus Monastery to pick up our highly coveted Westvleteren beer! Will stay here again on our trip next year!

The best breakfast ever!

Free, private Parking, hotel entrance/exit 24/7 (was perfect to be able to come back any time), had private safe space to keep and charge your electrical bicycles overnight. Big spacious bathroom, bottles with water, kettle and the coffee in the room. Nice location, very peaceful and quiet to sleep. Breakfasts were ideal, freshly made orange juice, croissants and fruit salad every morning! Huge variety of cheeses and a just cooked egg. We loved it so much! Absolutely great value for money and just 25 min drive from the beach!

Malhonnête ou en difficultés financières ainsi que problèmes de gestion de la location?

Rien de négatif à dire concernant le logement. Tout était correct.

Mr Jean-Marie, le propriétaire du logement, nous a reçu en tenue sortie de bain qui était negligemment fermé par la ceinture. De plus. Il n’était pas sobre et en proie à des problèmes personnels. C’est pas très professionnel. J’ai payé le logement en liquide soit 234 € et entre-temps mon compteur a été débité par booking. Le logement a donc été payé 2 fois. J’ai contacté Mr Jean-Marie par téléphone sans reponse puis j’ai envoyé un courrier pour lui demander le remboursement. Au téléphone, il m’a raconté que booking avait des problèmes informatiques pour le moment et qu’il attendait d’être payé avant de me rembourser. Je lui avait pourtant envoyé un extrait de mon compte reprenant la transaction. Mais rien n’y fait. Et depuis, j’attends toujours ce remboursement.

echt uitstekend ontbijt, vers geperst sinaasappelsap, potje vers gesneden fruit bij het ontbijt, verse grote croissants en vers frans brood, zoveel als je wou, ruim voldoende vleeswaren en 7 verschillende kazen, yoghurt, thee of koffie zoveel je wil, Aangename plaats om in te ontbijten, we konden en mochten zelfs van de restanten van het ontbijt een lunchpakket maken, als we dat wilden. De gastheer en vrouw deden echt hun best om het ons naar de zin te maken. ruime kamers met WC en douche op de kamer. Grote, veilige parking op het terrein van de B&B, en uit het zicht van de weg.

De gastheer en vrouw spraken West-vlaams, wat het soms wat moeilijker maakte om ze te verstaan, en ze hoorden al wat minder goed. Maar dan zijn we echt moeite aan het doen om een mindere kant aan te geven. Voor de minder sportieve mensen zou het misschien te ver van het centrum liggen, maar perfekt te doen met de fiets, dus voor ons echt geen probleem.

Ontspannend weekendverblijf

Zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door de gastheer, hij bracht ons naar de kamer, en gaf een woordje uitleg. Grote kamer met 2 stuks één-persoons sofa's, grote badkamer, kleine douche. Comfortabele bedden met een ideaal kopkussen. Uitstekend en lekker ontbijt, met als extraatje een fruitsalade en een gekookt eitje. De rest kon je nemen van het buffet. Zeer rustig gelegen, ideaal voor fietstochten. Centrum van Poperinge ligt op ongeveer op 10 minuten rijden met de auto.
