Perfect place to stay

The location was perfect. Walking distant to the city sqaure and Menin gate. The instructions provided by the host were excellent. The apartment was huge, warm, comfortable and every attention to detail was accommodated. There is a lift, stairs and wheelchair access. On arrival we noticed we had no towels but within 20 minutes of contacting the host we had our towels! Excellent service. Super happy with the whole experience. Would certainly recommend and stay again.

A second toilet in the main bathroom would have been more convenient with four adults sharing. However, this didn't overtly impact a wonderful experience staying in your beautiful apartment.

Brilliant property in a superb central location.

A superb property in a super central location with gated private parking. Open the door and you are immediately in the central area of Ypres with all its beautiful historical buildings, restaurants and shops. Our second visit to this property and we can't fault it.

Fantastic location, huge apartment with everything you could need for a self catering stay.

The roof terrace could do with a bit more of a clean (lots of pigeons around…) Some parts of the apartment could benefit from a new lick of paint, but otherwise perfect!

Superb location ,property and hosts, we are coming back soon.

The keys were in a secured lock box ,just through the front door, access was great and the instructions sent to us to help us find our way around were superb. Parking at the rear of the building was private, and accessed via remote control key fob , which worked superbly. Maxim one of our hosts was really helpful when we had a problem with our car, flat battery..... he organised someone to come and fix it, amazing service, thank you.

We are regular visitors to Ypres and have stayed in various hotels and apartments. This one however is by far the best. The location is ideal for visitors wanting to be in the very heart of Ypres.

Fabulous apartment

We stayed at a very hot time of year, the owners had put some temporary AC units in the apartment to keep us cool. The apartment is in an old monastery and the entrance is fabulous. Very clean well stocked apartment, in a great location. The owners provided ear plugs and we didn't find out why until the night clubs at the rear of the property started up. They didn't bother us, we were to tired to stay awake after our busy days.

Beautiful apartment with very usable outdoor space. Spacious and well laid out. Good secure parking.

On our 2 night stay there was an enormous amount of noise from Charlie Brown club nearby which went on well into the early hours of the morning on both nights. On Fri night it went on until 4.30am. It was loud music and crowd noise. Even with all windows closed the vibration from the music could be felt through the building.

Superb, Modern Apartment in a Converted Monastery!

The location was superb, in walking distance of many restaurants and bars, we well as cultural aspects. The apartment was very well equipped, with a plentiful supply of towels etc.

There was nothing that we didn't like - we didn't meet any staff at all so are unable to comment on the first score.

Verdreckt

Eigentlich eine schöne großzügige Ferienwohnung. Allerdings nur, wenn man seine Hygienestandards senkt. Leider waren die Betten nicht sonderlich bequem und die Decken hatten Löcher. Das Schlimmste war aber, dass nicht geputzt war. Wenn ich meinen Aufenthalt direkt mit dem Schrubben der völlig verdreckten Toilette beginnen muss, ist das unzumutbar. Vor allem bei dem nicht ganz günstigen Preis.

perfect lang weekeinde

eigenlijk beviel alles: de locatie in Yper, de grootte en indeling van de loft (slaapkamers, badkamer, zitgedeelte. fijne grote eettafel), het feit dat er 2 airco's waren neergezet in de periode dat het 30 graden, het kunnen parkeren binnen het kloosterterrein, aparte fietsenstalling, mogelijkheid buiten in de tuin te zitten

jammer was dat de zaterdagnacht tot 0300 uur werd verpest door de disco aan de kant van een van de slaapkamers, jammer is ook dat het zitje op het balkon deels onbruikbaar was door de duivenpoep. de douchekraan kan ook een vernieuwing gebruiken. een waarschuwing: denk aan je hoofd bij het koken en afwassen, afzuigkap hangt redelijk laag

erg warm en geen airco. maar wel ventilatoren aanwezig. gehorigheid gezien het mooi weer was en je in het centrum bij wat barretjes zit. niet ernstig verder.
