Another glorious Ieper property.

The property was beautifully decorated and maintained. It is excellently positioned. The beds were comfortable. We love Ieper and have stayed a few times just up the same street.

There seemed to be no facilities for drying clothes. We purchased a drying frame and donated it to the property when we left. I found the clear ground floor windows onto the street a little disconcerting, but some spare cushions resolved that issue. Oh yes, there also seemed to be a shortage of hooks to hang clothes, towels etc in both the bathroom and the upstairs loft room. All small stuff which can be easily resolved.

Excellent property in the perfect location.

The house is beautiful, exceptionally cleaned and the location is perfect for the city centre. It had been decorated autumnal and was very cosy.

The stairs inside the property are very steep, if you have mobility issues you may struggle getting up to the bedrooms.

It was a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend to any travellers to Ypres

The house was very comfortable and clean. It felt welcoming and has beautiful decor. The host, Julie was very warm, helpful and friendly.

The stairs to the upper floors were very narrow and steep, which was challenging for us to ascend and descend, and difficult to take luggage to the bedrooms. The third bedroom had no shelving or cupboards.

A Hidden Gem. Dont miss out on this.

A beautiful, well appointed property. A lot of love has gone into making this home what it is today. Everything you need is thought of. The hosts were very thorough in their instructions for entry to the property and gave loads of information about local facilities and parking. Also very quick to respond to any enquire prior to and during our stay. I would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in Ypres and visiting the area. I look forward to returning.

Very Well Presented.

Barroco is beautifully presented apartment very well located in the heart of Ypres. All the main attractions are within easy walking distance of a few minutes. Everything was as expected and checkin was simple. All the bedrooms are good sizes and it has a spacious bathroom with a very good walk in shower. As usual for the older buildings in Ypres the stairs are steep although the apartment does have a bannister, which is not common. We travelled as a family with an older member and the bannister was definitely appreciated. Owners are friendly and accommodating. One of the best apartments I have stayed in and thoroughly recommended.

There is very little to criticise Barroco about. If I had to mention anything it would be that the pillows were not the most comfortable and there were no spare/additional ones. I would also mention that we could not find a floor brush as we wanted to sweep through when we left. These are minor points and should not take anything away from what is a great place to stay in.

Zeer plezierig en zeer zeker aan te bevelen.

Prima locatie op loopafstand van het centrum van Ieper. Parkeren om de de hoek voor 2€ per dag. Zeer schoon huis met prima faciliteiten. Prima badkamer. Prima bedden. De steile trappen zijn niet zo geschikt voor minder valide mensen of kleine kinderen. Ons maakte dat niet uit, maar ondanks de aangebrachte leuning blijft het oppassen op de trappen. Maar dit heeft onze prima ervaring niet beïnvloed.

Kleine minpuntjes: badkamer en toilet konden niet op slot, automatisch lichtsensor op toilet beneden schakelt steeds na 20 seconden uit (even zwaaien met de armen deed het licht weer even aangaan, moet toch makkelijk te verhelpen zijn, maar was wel 'vermakelijk'), geen haakje bij douche om handdoek op te hangen, geen gordijn bij huiskamerraam aan de voorkant voor wat meer privacy als het donker is. Maar deze kleine minpuntjes hebben ons oordeel over de voortreffelijke accommodatie niet beïnvloed.

Centraal rustig gelegen, prachtig en volledig interieur.

Prachtige locatie nabij stadsomwalling. Het interieur was smaakvol, volledig uitgerust en comfortabel met een gezellig buitenhoekje. Volledig privé rijtjeswoning. Alle voorzieningen aanwezig, alsook kruiden, olie, koffie en afwasblokjes. Badkamer was ruim met een grote inloopdouche.

De mooie trap had een gladde nieuwe laklaag. Een antisliplaagje zou het wat comfortabeler maken.
