Bar one minor floor, a great apartment for anyone looking to stay in Ypres.

Great central location. Easy to access. Clean. Warm. Really great.

My only criticism of the entire property were the single beds in the third bedroom, which unfortunately I’m not really fit for purpose. They’re incredibly rickety make noise loud enough to wake up all members of the apartment every time you roll over and are incredibly uncomfortable. The good news is the boat sofas turned into sofa beds so it wasn’t a huge issue, but I think those beds in that attic room could be addressed.

The sauna was an added bonus after a long days walking.

The stairs in the property are steep and numerous. If you have limited mobility, it could cause a probem. If you're a mountain goat - happy days :-)

top single bed, occupant found it uncomfortable, shower power weak but totally liveable with. Had been told parking was free around the apartment but we got a parking fine for parking in the square for more than 2 hours just as you come out the apartment and turn left.

A wonderful centrally located apartment, with quirky details and impeccably organised and clean.

Maro apartment was a perfect location for our stay in Ypres and we were only sorry that we could not stay longer. It was easy to find, parking was straightforward and was spacious and beautifully fitted out and decorated. We loved the loft style layout and all the stairs and space. Whilst we didn't have chance to use the sauna it was a great additional element, as were the provisions and honesty box - such a great idea for a late arrival on a Sunday. Andrzej was an easy going host, had thought of everything users might require and made our short stay very comfortable. The location is superb, central enough but within a quiet neighbourhood. We really will return for longer and explore more fully this incredible area. Thank you.

spacious apartment for a central location in the lovely town of Ypres. we also like the honesty box set-up with drinks in the apartment, less hassle to do the grocery on the date of arrival.

As mentioned by other guests some satires before reaching the apartment. The response to get the code for key lock box is not smooth.

Awesome experience

The property was gorgeous. Only thing for travellers is the 40 odd stairs. I got my steps in but was an effort getting the luggage up. If your looking at exploring the military history of Australia or any nation involved in the first world war this is the place to start and make your base. Most moving place.

Brilliant stay in a lovely quiet apartment.

Amazing apartment with every need considered. Great location as it was only a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Ypres and the Menin Gate. There was a fridge stocked with drinks on an honesty box basis, along with pizzas in the freezer. All the bedrooms/bathrooms and living quarters were clean and tidy and well decorated. A very lovely and quiet apartment.

The amount of stairs to get into the top bedroom was a lot and they were very steep and tight to navigate, especially with big suitcases. I appreciate this is due to the shape of the building and can't be avoided, but its not ideal for less mobile people, smaller children or large heavy luggage.

High spec apartment in great location

The apartment is in a great location for exploring Ypres. It's spacious and finished to a high spec with good quality fixtures and fixings. The communal space is excellent and the area is quiet although only a few minutes walk rom the centre of town. The on street parking was convenient and all communication was prompt.

The bedding was a little heavy for a stay during summer and it would be helpful to have a mirror in each of the bedrooms.

Really hope we have the opportunity to stay again.

The property is immaculate, spacious and beautifully decorated. Plenty of space for myself, husband and 4 kids. Ideally located only a short walk away from market square and free street parking is a huge bonus. The little extras like a few toiletries/condiments/ice in the freezer were nice touches for a short stay. Overall I have nothing bad to say about it.

If I was to be picky, (and I mean this because I really hate to be negative about such lovely accommodations) the only negative are the stairs which are very steep and a little precarious to navigate with luggage.

Really nice appartment - where are the sheets?

The appartment is really well presented and the location is excellent - just a short walk to the main square and the Menin Gate. We arrived by bike and put our three bikes in a cupboard at the bottom of the stairs. If I return to Ypres I will stay again. My only negative comment is that we couldn't find sheets for the beds. Were we meant to have been providing these? And, the appartment displays some fantastic art which is for sale - if I had the money to spend I would have returned home with some paintings.

Spacious and roomy, everything left out looked high quality and in good condition. We were out and about the whole time but wished we'd had more time to relax and enjoy the apartment

Stylish, quiet, bright and spacious.

Bright , spacious, characterful, stylish and comfortable. Good quiet location. Well equipped. Everything worked fine. Good instructions and easy to find and enter apartment. Note steep narrow stairs up to apartment and up to bedrooms - typical of older buildings and part of the character of the place - but less mobile and larger people might find it a bit tricky. We enjoyed our short stay.

The bedding was synthetic velour which we found rather odd but there were cotton alternatives in the cupboard to it wasn’t a problem.

Kommunikation war einfach und sehr schnell. Meine Fragen wurden immer in kürzester Zeit beantwortet. Die Wohnung ist ein Traum und Ypern ist ein Geheim Tipp. Die Stadt ist wunderschön und hat eine Außergewöhnliche Geschichte. Das die Leute bis heute immer noch den gefallenen Soldaten vom ersten Weltkrieg gedenken muss einfach stolz machen.

Unterkunft mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten in historischer Umgebung

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Den Haustürschlüssel erhält man über eine Schlüsselbox direkt an der Haustür. Auch wenn ich lieber eine persönliche Übergabe habe, war das unkompliziert. Dann geht es über zwei relativ steile Treppen in die Ferienwohnung, die sich sogar auf 3 Ebenen (inklusive Dachgeschosswohnung) verteilt. Es ist alles sehr großzügig aufgeteilt, von guter Qualität mit ein paar schönen Details, Wir hatten zwar nur einen Aufenthalt über eine Nacht, aber aufgrund der großzügigen Zeitregelung von 14h bis max. 12h am nächsten Tag konnten wir morgens noch die tolle Sauna nutzen. Die Wohnung selber liegt am Standrand von Ypern. Kostenlos kann man zwar nicht direkt vor der Haustür parken, aber es gibt fußläufig 5 Minuten entfernt einen kostenlosen Parkplatz. Ypern selber ist nett mit großer Historie, insbesondere aus den beiden Weltkriegen. Es gibt rund um den Marktplatz etliche nette Einkehrmöglichkeiten. Und auch die nähere Umgebung bietet viele interessante Ausflugsmöglichkeiten plus Strand.

Die Treppe ist schon steil, also für Leute mit Bewegungseinschränkungen schwierig. Und ein Geländer war lose.

Nous sommes restés une nuit, mais super séjour en famille. Très calme, à 5' à pied de restaurant.

Endroit très calme, appartement très bien agencé, très bien équipé, très propre. Linge de maison en suffisance. Beaucoup de rangement dans la cuisine. Très belle salle de bain.

Escaliers un peu raide, Literie un peu molle pour des personnes ayant mal au dos. Manque un store dans chambre tout près de la chambre mansardée.
