Poor quality towels which was a let down.

Amazing location, Valery and Peter made us feel so welcome and helped us in every way we needed. We loved our stay and the kids loved it too! Access to the garden was a nice bonus, although too hot when we stayed.

Everything was perfect, the weather was so hot! But obviously nothing to complain about, Valery brought us a fan to help with the kids sleeping.

This is a lovely property. A large upper floor flat with two very large rooms, bathroom and hall. There is a lift to the first floor and then a further flight of stairs to go up and another to go down. Very efficient heating system, plentiful hot water and adequately equipped kitchen. Ideally situated for visiting Ypres. Owner provides a blue disc for use during stay which allows parking in areas nearby for up to two hours at a time. There are also 30 min slots available nearby for unloading if required and free car parks within walking distance for longer stays. Easy to find using sat nav.

We had agreed to call Owner an hour or so before our arrival to find out about access to property. Owner's phone was permanently 'busy' so, in the end we drove to the accommodation, were lucky enough to find a 30 min parking slot nearby and texted to say we were there. Turns out the Owner works in a shop underneath the property and has a lock box for keys. It would have been much easier if we had either been told to go to the shop for the keys on arrival or given a code for the lock box. Other than that it was great.

Found easy 2hr parking close to apartment which is set above a great little Giftware/Café with courtyard. Access to rooms are made easy with a basic lift, due to the 17th/18th century classic staircase would make it a challenge. Heaps of old world character with uneven floors that have the ageing creeks as you walks around the apartment. (My granddaughter found this a bit of a challenge to sleep with the noise) Fantastic position to all the main tourist attraction's with safe and easy walking. Also just a short walk to free parking along classic streets with amazing things to find in the nick knack shops. Very roomy and classic original windows for open air feeling.

Sadly the hot water jug was unusable to major scale build up.
