A comfortable home and great base to explore Ypres and its surroundings.

A very well-equipped and homely property with clean, comfortable beds and large bathroom. Having the whole house to ourselves made for a very relaxing stay. The location is perfect - adjacent to the town ramparts which offer an alternative wooded stroll into town. There is an excellent bakery a short walk away for breakfast pastries. An added benefit was on-street parking directly outside the property, courtesy of a permit for peak hours. Many thanks Jerry. We hope to return for longer next time!

Lovely house that exceeded expectations, great location, would stay again!

Jerry was very friendly and patient when we were delayed in arriving due to the Eurotunnel. He met us to give us the house keys and explained the parking in the area. The house is beautiful, very clean and has everything you need for a short stay. There is a lot of information within the house of what to do in the local area as well if you need any information. Location is a short walk from the square of the town centre, so is on the quieter side and there is a lovely bakery at the end of the road. We were really happy with our stay and will consider staying here again if we come back to Ypres! Thank you very much Jerry!

I dreaded leaving.

Where to start? The host lives next door. He welcomed us on time and was very friendly and helpful. The apartment (house) was fantastic. If we had owned it, we would not have changed a thing. Well-thought out, lovely design and furnishings, super beds, shower, kitchen...everything was fantastic. Air conditioning worked great though we hardly used it. The outdoor eating area leads to a second garden with outdoor chairs. Ypres is a gorgeous city and the location is about a 15 minute walk to the center. We would definitely stay here again. The house was so cosy and beautifully decorated. It was a pleasure to stay there and we hope to come again in the future. Gerry was a very pleasant individual, a great host and provided personal touches such as beers, water and chips for us to enjoy! He was very knowledgeable about the area and things to do and the house was well stocked with information leaflets for sightseeing and activities. Thanks for the tip on Talbot House Gerry, it was well worth the visit!

Alles was super schoon mooi appartement met volledige ingerichte keuken badkamer was zeer lux en groot lekker met een regendouche alles naar ook werkelijk alles is er aanwezig. Goede bedden Informatie over ww1 mooie boeken. Noem het maar op gewoon heel goed parkeren kon met een parkeerkaart voor de deur en bij lang lang parkeren op 5 minuten lopen. Jerry is een zeer gastvrije man en geeft ook tips over de omgeving. We komen zeker teruf
