We had a fantastic stay in the beautiful city of Ypres and will definitely return to the Carmelite.

The location was excellent, just a few minutes walk from the cloth hall. The apartment had everything we could possibly need and more, it was a real home from home. The drinks left for us by the host were lovely. The rooms were larger than expected for a city centre location and everything was spotlessly clean. The hosts were very helpful and always quick to respond to our questions.

A really comfortable base to visit the City of Ypres

Located right in the city centre, a few minutes walk from the Market Square, the Menin Gate etc. Also parking nearby, and charging points for an EV. Really comprehensive instructions from the host (in at least 3 languages), who is clearly very proud of their apartment.

It was quite challenging to work out how to get the programmes we wanted on the two TV sets - but this may have been more obvious to someone used to the range of broadcast channels in Belgium.

Enjoyed the location and the comforts of the Carmelite.

We enjoyed having the use of a kitchen and to cook for ourselves. I just wished we had had more time to enjoy the unit and the town of Leper and surrounding areas. We enjoyed the personal touches around the unit.

Just the closeness of the bed to the ceiling, which I appreciate is challenging to avoid, perhaps smaller bedside tables and the bed could could be moved over. That’s our only complaint. We loved everything else.

The property was spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. The location couldn't be any better, a 4 minute walk to Grote Markt.

there was only one thing, and it was very minor. There was a waterproof mattress protector cover to protect the bed topper and terry towelling sheet on the bed which made the bed feel a bit sweaty and did not go with the other lovely bedding - perhaps put the waterproof sheet under a cotton mattress protector and a cotton fitted sheet to match the other bedding?

Er goed geoutilleerd appartement. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Erg mooi uitzocht op het binnenplein, erg mooi gelegen op echt drie minuten lopen van het centrum. Erg fijn contact met host.

Een aanrader om Ieper en omgeving te bezoeken!!!

Het appartement is rustig gelegen op het bovenste verdiep van een oud Karmelieten klooster. Op wandelafstand van het centrum. Mooi gerenoveerd en alles is aanwezig om je er thuis te voelen! Zeer goed bed! Heel erg proper.

De zetels zaten niet zo comfortabel. Maar dat is dan ook het enige minpuntje. ;)
