Lovely hotel in Massif Central region of France with hiking, hot springs and many outdoor ativities ear by.

Clean art deco decor with updated baths and electrical systems . Very comfortable. Parking on premises.

Charming slice of Art Deco to make you smile, with amazing meals!!

This hotel is such a little surprise. It’s in a very art deco district with incredible views from the hilltop. The room was very clean and comfortable, and true to theme. It’s not over the top, fancy or luxurious, but it’s spacious and the overall style of everything just brings a smile to your face. It’s very easy to relax there. We also had our dog our dog with us, who was welcome everywhere in the building. The food can be summed up by saying they definitely deserve a Michelin star in the home of Michelin, in my humble opinion. The staff were uniformly pleasant and helpful.

The room decor is somewhat basic, but it has everything you need, including a small dining table and chairs.

We’ll come again

We loved this little hotel and its interiors : lovely simple bedroom which had a very comfortable bed and an enormous walk in closet to hide suitcases and accoutrements away. A large bathroom with both bath and separate shower and lots of hot water. Friendly professional staff both at reception and in the starred restaurant. Breakfast was exemplary.

Quirky but make sure you get air con room for hot summer. The food is excellent & staff fantastic.

Very interesting decor. Beautiful building in Art Deco style. Very quirky and full of character. Friendly staff, very helpful and genuine. Absolutely amazing meal! Top class, worth making a trip for.

I was expecting air con and we didn't get it. We did have a fan, but in 38 degree heat that wasn't really enough. My father's wheelchair didn't fit in the lift (which was antique) but we managed. The staff did all they could to help.

Very pleasant stay, the food lived up to the hype.

The parking was excellent I had booked a spot in the locked garage for a fee which I knew about.The room was not as advertised that’s something I will take up with Booking.com. The staff were excellent and they kindly called me back to arrange a dinner reservation .The food was perfection well worth the accolades that have been heaped upon this restaurant.If you are going to stay at the hotel put aside funds for there wonderful food .

Attractive hotel with exceptionally helpful staff. Very comfortable beds.

I booked this hotel as it had a restaurant serving dinner ( many hotels in France have restaurant closed for dinner on Mondays in the low season). However what I did not realise was that what was served was a rather expensive gormet menu - Asparagus starter at 39 euros, confit fish with risotto at 59 euros. The service was good with extras like amuse bouche etc, but I feel there should be a cheaper alternative offered, or it should be made obvious on booking.com

I booked it because it had a restaurant. But on Sunday the restaurant is closed. So we couldn’t eat. Terrible.

The staff was very friendly: they listened to us and answered every question we had with useful pieces of information. The rooms were calm and neat and tidy. PS: thank you for the "Les Collectionneurs" book: it's pretty useful and I use it quite often!

Stay and try the restaurant!

Beautiful art deco style building and welcoming staff. The bedrooms have character and all the facilities worked well. Our requests were met without issue and would happily stay again. Dining in the restaurant was excellent, food of high quality.

Breakfast selection was quite simple. A larger choice would be nice.

Chamalieres is a very built up suburb of Clermont. Difficult to negotiate. Hotel a little too stylised and not very welcoming. Too much concentration on restaurant?
