Decor, comfort, staff friendliness, location.

No alternative to dairy milk for breakfast. I didn’t ask in advance as I thought it was standard at a 4 star (given allergies and increased number of vegans, CO2 eq émissions of dairy etc). The staff were polite but said ‘ not today’. At a good hotel there should be some initiative obtain it ( the casino is 5 minutes away). Moreover it’s so easy to keep a spare soya/almond milk in stock as it doesn’t expire quickly. There was none in my second day either - a little disappointing there was no follow up.

Great choice for breakfast . Good secure parking facilities ( although a tad expensive) 20 euros I believe. Central location .

Air conditioning in room and main lobby area non existent ( it was very hot) . Reception staff whilst not unhelpful could have been more friendly. Whilst clean the Rooms are tired , corridors very dark , needs brightening up ! For a supposedly 4 star hotel I expected better.

Nothing prestige about this hotel

The location was OK we had to get our room changed because although we had specified twin beds we were given a double bed. There appeared to be virtually no staff. We thought there was a restaurant but all was on offer was prepared dish to be microwaved. The breakfast was good, but again virtually no staff. We paid to park in their underground car park, here was one place which was very difficult to manage. The experience of this hotel was it was overpriced and under staffed

If you don’t speak French avoid this hotel!

The location

The staff don’t speak English. You must speak French in order to communicate with the staff. I called the reception and told me to go to the bar. So I had to go downstairs 10.00pm with pajamas and someone from the bar came with his friend who speaks English to help!!! So for the first time in my life I went to a hotel and I couldn’t communicate!!

Nice hotel near to the center of town. The reception staff were really nice and friendly. The room was clean and a good size. We would definitely stay again.

We had to ask for more food at breakfast as there was no fresh bread or hot food available when we arrived. When my husband asked a member of staff they told him all the food was eaten by othe guests even although it was only 08.45 . But after about 10 minutes more food arrived and it was delicious. I think the breakfast staff could be more smiling and friendly.

Lovely hotel and good value for money

Excellent stop over location for our trip from Spain to the Eurotunnel. Nice area - cute Sunday Market up the road. Lovely hotel with good facilities. Very comfy bed and very clean. We were in a superior double room. Plentiful breakfast! Loved the mini fridge, complementary water and the facts it had tea and coffee making facilities.

Towels were a little hard. Our room smelt as though it had just been decorated but not overly powerful. No real complementary products- just mild soap so hair washing was a challenge if you didn't have your own. There was a card for you to have breakfast in your room which was ideal as we had our dog; however, it wasn't picked up so we had to take it in turns to go for breakfast. 'Mountain view' was a little bit of a stretch! Very small in the distance. All very nitpicky - will definitely return.

Paid in full but didn’t stay due to no secure parking for van with valuables on board

paid but didn’t stay at hotel couldn’t park van so left and stayed somewhere else with parking and got told no refund not happy.

staff not helpful I ask is it possible to cancel hotel room because of parking issues she said yes but still charge me not happy I booked room 30 minutes before I arrived if I’ll let down by this has Ouse booking.com for hotels 20 times a year NO GOOD
