Hotel set on a very busy road. I know that fire doors have to be solid but the doors were very heavy and practically impossible for me to hold open and pass through.

Superb

Parking available just outside the property. Able to communicate with the reception even though English was not spoken. Good size room, comfortable bed,hot shower. The menu for the evening meal was translated into English which was extremely helpful. Breakfast was varied and good quality. Great location very near to the town centre.

Friendly hosts, one even came out to the car and helped us with our luggage. The room was comfortable. The menu for dinner was limited but well cooked. We enjoyed our stay and would use the hotel again.

Perfectly adequate and comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Interesting town on the outskirts of Claremont Ferrand. Interesting facade to the hotel, there was a lift to all floors and the room was clean and tidy with a large comfortable bed. Perfect for us. It was a Sunday so finally found dinner in the casino which was open. Parking was outside the hotel with limited private parking near the hotel. We had no problems parking at the front of the hotel and it felt quite safe. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

A nice, family-style hotel with friendly and polite staff, close to the spas and thermal waters that

I liked the quietness of this small, family-run hotel. It was located very close to the Royatonic establishment for going to the thermal pools and saunas, etc… The staff were all very friendly and polite and went out of their way to help me with my questions, etc.. The breakfast was served each morning in the dining room, and I chose to have dinner there as well for a couple of evenings.

The key to the safe in the closet of my room was never provided or offered even though I wanted to use the safe. Also, the electric fan in my room didn’t work at all, and nobody came to fix it even though I reported it broken.

A good base for exploring Claremont Ferrand and surrounding area.

Good location for the Puy de Dome and other locations around Claremont Ferrand. Easy, and cheap, bus service into the city. Small hotel carpark, but free carpark just across the road. All staff very friendly and helpful. Good choice at breakfast. Good evening meal. Other restaurants nearby. Room and bathroom clean and tidy.

Our room was in a section of hotel with seperate door. The stairs and wall/skirting decoration were chipped and tired. Bedroom doore cheap. After a long tiring day we felt disappointed but then met more staff and experienced evening meal and realized we had made a good choice.

A big thank for the receptionist who showed flexibility on our reservation issue. Room, bathroom are cleans. The hotel's restaurant is very nice with good cooking. The view from the room's window is just amazing. We recommend this hotel.

Friendly staff, excellent location and good food and wine. Try the truffade and the duck!

The staff were warm and welcoming. They were very patient with our bad French and encouraged us. The food in the restaurant was really good. A good, regular bus service into Clermont-Ferrand, the bus stop, supermarket and a good coffee shop just a quick walk away. Free parking close by was a bonus!

We were there during a heatwave. There was a fan, but it was a bit noisy. But you can’t expect a hotel to control the weather

La chambre est un peu étroite et un peu vieillotte. La salle de douche est limitée pour la taille des gens un peu forts.

L'accueil, et le personnel, très agréables

Etablissement vieillissant, dont les chambres mériteraient un petit coup de raffraichissement. Impossible de se garer dans la rue, qui plus est, avec un utilitaire. L'accès au parking (gratuit) de l'hôtel n'est pas aisé, et une fois le (tout petit) parking trouvé, l'accès à l'hôtel est quasiment acrobatique, en particulier avec les bagages (cheminement escarpé et pas toujours bien pavé). Enfin, la carte du restaurant, intéressante sur le papier, ne vaut, malheureusement, pas le tarif proposé.
