Modern hotel in a quiet location

It looked as it does in the photos. Modern and fresh and clean. Had a mini fridge which is always handy. The beds were big and comfortable. The breakfast was really tasty with lots of choice, including a pancake machine where you just press a button and can watch the pancake being freshly made. It was located about a 5 min walk from a tram stop into the main town.

The bathroom had a bit of a smell to it, like smelly drains.

The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. The room was spacious and comfortable, offering a pleasant environment to rest. Both the bedroom and bathroom were very clean and well kept. Parking was easy and convenient, making arrival and departure smooth and stress-free.

The hotel recommended the nearby Buffalo Grill restaurant, but unfortunately the staff there were not very attentive or courteous. While this does not reflect directly on the hotel itself, it did affect the overall experience. A different recommendation for dining might improve the guest experience.

This hotel was a little outside the city centre. Was perfect since it was only a 10 min drive to the city centre. I could easy come back to this hotel. Breakfast was a little simple but the staff was helpfull to refill.

Friendly staffs, clean & very spacious family room.

The family room is huge & spacious. There are 4 of us and we could easily move around in the room without bumping into each other. The bed & pillows are so comfortable. We slept very well. There are many restaurants, bakeries near the hotel and about 8 minutes drive to town. We are on our way to Spain and this hotel is perfect for 1 night stay for us.

Very happy with the great value stay

A great location for us as it was on the northern outskirts of the town (the direction from which we arrived/left) and a short walk from the tram stop to take us into the centre. It was also 7 minutes' drive from IKEA (which we were also visiting). That said, other than the neighbouring restaurant (which was very good - see below), there is nothing of interest in the immediate vicinity - unless you like artificial ski slopes. Other that the hand basin plug being ineffective and the space at the foot of the bed limited, there were no disappointments. The staff were friendly and allowed us to check in very early, the room was pleasant and breakfast was fine. A 10% discount was available at the steakhouse next door and the restaurant's staff were very friendly and the food was very nice (for possibly the first time ever, the food delivered to the table looked exactly the same as the photographs in the menu).

The hand basin plug simply didn't work. The bathroom also looked a little tired. The space between the foot of the bead and the desk area was very limited.

A Second Visit to Clermont-Ferrand.

The close proximity to the site I was working on. The bed was comfortable.

Smelling cigarette smoke when trying to sleep. This was either coming from the ventilation system or someone smoking in the corridor. It's a shame that there isn't a restaurant in the hotel, in spite of the steakhouse next door. If you're not a meat eater, you're stuck with food from Uber Eats.
