Terrible experience with extremely hot room and extra fee for breakfast not according to what I had booked.

The air-conditioning was not working and the room was terribly hot! On top, I booked the hotel room with breakfast included for me and my family. When I got there the receptionist said breakfast for my kids was not included and I had to pay extra fee!!! Terrible!

A hotel that looked brand new!

Either is this hotel brand new or recently renovated, it looked quite new! I really like the decor in the room, the shower was great, great room size! Air conditioning worked well and silently. There is an open parking in front of the hotel, and a secure parking below it. I could leave my motorbike in front of the reception. Something special about Clermont-Ferrand: the public street lightning is shut off during the night, this gives you a really dark sky in the middle of the night!

Not what I needed after a long drive

I didn't like turning up to a building site! At one stage (Having passed another Ibis hotel moments earlier) I thought I was in the wrong place. No staff anywhere near the entrance, had to wonder blindly around this building site in an effort to find anyone.

This was perfectly suitable as a stop over on the way to somewhere else.

The room was clean (as expected) and the bed really comfortable. Breakfast was great, lots of choices. This was the perfect stop over from Grenoble on our way to the Dordogne.

We stayed in August for two nights on our way through France to Spain, we really liked the hotel, the very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, underground parking for 5 Euros, excellent breakfast, etc. On our return to the UK we chose this same hotel to rest for one night. Everything was perfect.

The staff were very helpful. The room was clean and tidy. A good location with parking and the tram stop for the city centre was just across the road.

There was not a great deal of choice for breakfast and think it over priced for what was on offer.

Good overall with some deign challenges!

The room and property overall was very clean and refreshed!

The room has a few design issues: first of all the bunk bed design is such that it is too easy to hit your head on the bunk when getting into the lower bed. The bunk should be taller. The shower door leaked like crazy due to the big hole in the door where a handle should be and it just didn’t close properly. There was this repeated loud buzzing sound coming from the AC so we simply turned it off at night to get to sleep.
