Great choice for the eastern part of C-F.

Not central, but a good location for the east of the city. Good underground parking (2.1m) and good breakfast. Lobby bar is comfortable and handy. Staff are friendly, breakfast is good.

Rude manager

Location

The so called 'boss' by one of the employees was really rude and not attentive. Didn't care about the well being of the guests. One of the cleaning employees knocked hardly in our bedroom door at 11:50 to make us leave the room. We asked for a few more minutes and she asked the 'boss' which didn't allow us to stay a few moments more and we had to leave in a hurry. We went to the reception and asked her why we couldn't stay a few minutes more which she replied: 'mid-day is mid-day and said bye. So rude. Avoid this hotel. There are many options close by.

When we came back from eating in the town centre we decided to have a drink in the bar (it was before 10), when we asked we felt that the girl on reception was not to pleased that we had disturbed her, even though they say it is open till 1am

Rude Receptionist speaks Catalan but not English

It's clean hotel also the most of the staff is polite.

I have stayed at this hotel three consecutive, the 2 first weeks were ok. On the second week I faced some issues with the communication, because the staff doesn't speak good English,but they put effort to bridge the linguistic gap. But the last week I had to do with a rude receptionist who doesn't speak English according to him, ironic and basically he didn't know basic things. E.g I asked to pay for the room ,he changed me in the beginning one night out of 2 , then he realised that one night is not paid and he asked me to pay separately the second night. I asked him to put the name and address of the company where I work on the invoice, didn't know how to do it. He kept speaking to me in french while he knew that I don't speak, and he referred to me twice in 2 days how many languages he speak and which. Congratulations. I speak also three languages. Basically the bad score to the certain hotel is due to this guy, because they hired him while they knew that he cannot speak English. I cannot understand how a company in the industry of tourism hired this guy. He referred me that he speaks Catalan among the other 2 languages he can speak. Really useful information for me. Conclusion: A bad decision (hiring the wrong person) is costly and this is responsibility of the management!

The hotel was conveniently located a very short walk from the Stade Marcel Michelin which was the reason for our visit. Whilst it was only a 15 / 20 minute walk for the main city centre there is also a tram stop almost right outside. Free secure parking is available.

Friendly and helpful check-in staff; comfy bed; sound-proofing and modern styling. Breakfast was fresh, if lacking in choice.

Location is a distance from the centre but the free public transport at weekends helped and there is a tram-stop almost in front of the hotel. Hotel restaurant is closed at weekends.
