Not a comfortable stay. Never to be repeated and not recommended at all.

Not much. Breakfast was good.

Initial room (16) had no hot water at all. Windows were grubby and window would not secure properly. Blinds I’ll fitting. It’s a “tired hotel”.

Needs a lot of improvement to be competitive with other budget hotels.

Not a lot. Rooms were good size, and reasonably comfortable. On site car parking was helpful. Location for price was about right

Hotel entry was insecure as the keypad lock on the side entrance that led to the car park was broken, so the hotel could easily be entered by-passing reception. Poor sound insulation between rooms, corridor and outside road. Building looked tired and in need of thorough upgrading inside and out. Lift only stopped in between floors - halfway between ground and first and then between second and third - so stairs had to be used part-way between floors in all cases.

Payed an addition to have a quiet room facing the garden. This was in fact a parking lot with cars moving in an out during the night.

Dirty bathroom. When come from grocery shop (about 10:00), the main door where locked, info only in French, no one answered calls under mobile number noticed on the door.

Cannot recommend this hotel at all

The staff were lovely. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was fine.

The room was a disgrace - smashed sink, mould on ceiling, rust on pipes in the shower. That particular room should not have been rented before the sink had been repaired. Even if it had been, the walls paper thin, heard others' conversations. Loud noisy guests woke me throughout the night. The bed was unstable and squeaked, with the mattress sloping to the centre. Inconvenient location, no small shop nearby for basics, one restaurant (and most takeaway in Chateauroux seemed to stop deliveries by 22:00).

The location was good

Noisy including the staff laughing smoking and drinking in the street outside the hotel right under our room window. The hotel did not look like the pictures shown on booking.com They skso charged more than we were told we would pay when we booked.

Not as good as photos show

Fine parking, and thus the place is worn down, it was none the less clean. Front desk was also friendly and efficient. Wifi was good.

The hotel is not as you expect from the description or the photos. The garden is a triangular lawn between hotel and parking and looks bad. The entire hotel is very worn down and in poor shape. No feeling of any comfort. Paint is peeling of the wall in the bathroom.

Cheap but not cheerful.

It was cheap. Big car park, but not secure.

Lift not working ( we were on the 3rd floor, with lots of luggage that we didn't want to leave in the car overnight). Apparently it had been broken for months. But it only serves the between-stairs areas, so even if it had been working we would have had to lug everything up a dozen steps, take the lift up 2 storeys, then lug our stuff up the last dozen steps. Weird. Bathroom dirty. Brown streaks ( hopefully limestone) down the back of the loo. Yuk.

the whole hotel is very dated. The bathroom is like something from the 1970's and really do with a full upgrade.

very very tired hotel in 70’s time warp, no curtains so difficult to open shutters for air as there is no aircon or fans. Lift was not working, location not good you have to drive into chauteroux cente

It was a good stop-over and we would possibly use it again. It was a very good price

Easy to find, the room was a good size, there was a comfortable lounge. Two chairs was a nice touch.

The cleanliness left a lot to be desired.
