Disappointed

The beds were clean and the pillows good.

After waiting outside for 10 minutes whilst clarifying that our payment had been made via booking.com previously, we were then let in to a Reception area they had a string unpleasant smell about it. A member of staff met us at reception and was not altogether happy to see us. We were given our rooms (booked 2 twins) only to return to reception to ask for a different room as the drains were letting off a very strong smell. The twins were very small, but ok for the overnight stay due to location to the venue we were going too. The carpets were worn through in the hallways and had an overall "tired" look about it.

Excellent place to stay when travelling

Very convenient - just what we needed. All we wanted was somewhere to sleep overnight that could accommodate our 3 dogs, and that provided breakfast. It was ideal for us

Nothing really. Of course, we had to go out to get a meal in the evening but wouldn't have expected anything else. Staff very friendly and helpful

Near motorway & restaurants

No reception just a machine outside which didn’t work. Had to phone a number to be given room number and a code Air conditioning not working and it was impossible to sleep. Room next door had several children banging the door shut and noisy until midnight Not happy and it ruined our next day

Great overnight stop

Great location near the motorway. Clean room, great shower, comfortable bed. Lots of places to eat nearby. Places to walk the dog. Guy in reception could do with a course at a charm school but it’s great for an overnight stop. Pet friendly and free parking.

Would use again as location was very good and it was easy to find just look for the airport

Room was good and as we were on ground floor it was much better for us. Bed was comfortable and toilet and shower were good . Only let down was breakfast there was not much choice so we did not have breakfast there in the end

paying twice is not acceptable.

we have been charged twice. The booking number was not accepted by the machine. i spoke to someone on the help facility who confirmed it was the correft number. i could not get help again. it was baking hot & we had driven for many hours. We had to rebook and pay so we have paid twice. how do I get a refund?

Very small room and the shower is really hard to use without spilling on the floor toilet seat was broken did not get the breakfast even though i paid for it (but honestly it was not worth it, just some bread) also got wrong info about when it is, so had a plan of quickly eating at 7 and then leaving, but obviously did not happen esp since it was not at 7

Very upsetting

Receptionist was very unhelpful. In our room the toilet didn’t flush and the seat was loose and kept coming off. When we complained she told us no other room was available but she sent someone to fix the toilet. He arrived but didn’t fix it. After waiting some time we asked the receptionist what was happening. She said he would come back and fix it. After some time we asked again: he had gone for his meal. Eventually we asked for a refund so we could change hotel. She then offered us another room. We accepted but she became aggressive and told us we were getting on her nerves. We had no alternative but to stay the night as it was getting late. My wife and I were left shocked and upset by this experience. We have never been treated like that in any hotel we have stayed in. We don’t think this employee is working in the right job!

We've used this hotel several times...it's a known quantity. Reasonable value and practical.

Located near the autoroute, this hotel is near restaurants, a retail park and fuel station. No nonsense rooms are clean and the buffet breakfast is fine. Car parking is right outside the hotel entrance. Check in is staffed through the evening but night time check-in is automated. Ideal for an overnight stop.

This is a fine functional hotel but not really suitable for a leisure stay as you're a distance from the town centre and any tourist attractions.
