I loved the atmosphere and look forward to my next visit.

As a town centre hotel across the road from the station, it has a bustling bar and very adequate restaurant; it also has secure parking

The bathroom had a slight odour of drains but I've stayed in two or three other rooms wit this being a problem; it reminded me of holidays in the past!

Overnight in train station; unexpected kindness of others

All the staff and others there were very pleasant, helpful, and accommodating. The manager helped us secure train reservations after one we had was unexpectedly canceled the previous day resulting in overnight stay. He went above and beyond.

The room was up a long flight of stairs, and then a spiral staircase. There was no air-conditioning or fans. It was especially hot weather. Bed pillows were horrible. Food service was unpredictable. Purchased breakfast, and it was sparce at best.

I meant to visite using public transportation (train, bus etc.) and the hotel is ideally located for this.

At night, the place between the hotel and the train station has numerous lights and they show despite the curtains.

Brief ovenight stay

Location was good just a 5 minute walk to main area with cafes and restaurants

Room was odd shape and bathroom small. Unpleasant smell from drains which got worse when other rooms flushed toilets. Odd design balcony meant guest from another room was outside main bedroom window; very odd and slightly worrying. Fire alarm went off in middle of the night which apparently can happen often.

Nobody spoke any other Language than french. The arrogance was overwelming. The room was was small, dark and worn. Shower too small and with mold. The Dinner was an imposition. Unbelieveable that booking.com makes advertising for rabbish like this.

Decent hotel ruined by rude staff

The location was great and the hotel was fairly comfortable.

The member of staff I dealt with was rude and unhelpful. I waited for ages at the reception with my kids and suitcases until one of the bar staff eventually told us we could check in there. He was unpleasant to me and complained about the fact it was Booking.com for just one night. He charged us for parking even though there was a music festival going on which meant we could not access the parking space. The lock for my son’s room stopped working in the night, leaving us unable to get to him. We loved the town and the hotel itself was fine but the unpleasantness of this staff member made it an unpleasant stay.

The hotel was dirty items in the room broken like the toilet roll holder the waste bin in the toilet was missing coat hook hanging out of the wall. Had to fetch towels from reception and then toilet rolls as room had not been serviced properly. Wo7ld not recommend anyone to stay there. No air conditioning rooms were very hot as outside temperature was 35 degrees . Uncomfortable nights sleep. The general appearance of the whole hotel was of it needing a complete refurbished and upgrade. Do not stay there.
