Allows dogs. Great parking. Wonderful breakfast. Charming host.

La Soierie host is simply charming. If you have dogs ( we don't) which are allowed to stay and go when swimming pool is open and have an evening meal (not on offer) then you'll appreciate La Soierie more than we did. . The breakfast was generous and delightful. The parking outside great. The bedrooms are on 1st floor with a kettle and hot drink making facilities on landing. The room has air con which helped heat it. The bed comfy. WiFi fine.

The furnishings & ensuite shower room are a bit dated compared to other offerings with a 9 rating. A smart tv which allows me to log into Netflix would be appreciated as French terrestrial tv can be a bit dull. Towels were rough - a few mins in the tumble dryer should help.

Excellent place. Friendly, secure, quiet and a lovely pool.

The room was lovely, with large bed, proper table and chairs to sit at, and very big shower room. Breakfast was lovely sat round a large round table with a table cloth. Could talk to other guests or not. Your choice. Pool was lovely. Well looked after. Cycling is easy in this town so getting about and into town is no problem. Not too far to walk either. Room was very quiet. Property had large rear garden. Parking very secure. Place very easy to find.

Doesn't take cards so had to find cash. Minor issue so didn't detract from the place at all.

Perfect one night stay

I had stayed here last year on my way back to the ferry so I knew the location and the facilities . Emily and Maxime were again very wellcoming , the evening meal was very good and tasty . The room was adequate with comfortable beds . The continetal breakfast was a good start to the day . Perfect for a one night stay on your way south or north , I would deffinitly recommend and use again .

My only criticism would be keeping ones footing on the gravel drive parking the motorbikes .

A welcome oasis

Beautiful comfortable home. The air conditioning was a real blessing as it was so hot. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely breakfast and excellent dinner cooked by Muriel who was so welcoming and an excellent hostess. Lovely to meet other guests in such comfortable surroundings. I would highly recommend. This was our second visit.

Outstanding stay!

We had a wonderful overnight stay at La Soierie en route for the Pyrenees. Conveniently close to the A20 but far enough away to be quiet, Emily & Maxime gave us a warm welcome. We enjoyed our large and comfortable room and the meals were delicious.
