Take a torch if you arrive at night!

A lovely, large room and en suite bathroom overlooking the village square. A great boulangerie was around the corner and a lovely circular walk started outside the front door. The bed was comfortable and free parking was available in the adjacent public car park. We were well accommodated during our 4 night stay.

The electric hob did not work. There was not much in the way of crockery. The toilet kept on running after flushing. The room overlooked the main street going through the village. Lorries rumbled past throughout the night. I was OK, as I sleep with ear plugs, but my husband found the traffic quite noisy. We arrived at night and it was pitch black in the car park. My husband needed a torch to access the key safe The instructions said that the key worked the door on the left. It didn't - it worked the middle door.

Calm and peaceful location.

I liked the wallpaper behind the bed and the staircase.

Just that I prefer a bath to a shower. Also, the instructions for getting the key could have been clearer. Meeting a member of staff in person is always better but I suppose that is not possible nowadays.

Nice bedroom in a village

Nice and comfortable room located in the center of a village. The place is quite easy to find and we received information for a self check-in. The size of the room on the first floor (only stairs) was good for two people. The Wi-Fi was working well and the room was quite well equipped. Easy to park the car near the building.

Could be a bit cleaner (dust, hair,…). The shower was not very convenient as there was no door or curtain and there was water everywhere in the bathroom.

Exceptional

The most charming host during our “Tour de France”. Excellent room facing the townhall square with view of city life with an excellent “boulangerie” around the corner. Luckily the bells of the town hall take a break overnight 😊

The room was comfortable and had been very tastefully decorated. The owner was friendly and very helpful with suggestions for eating. Although the property was in the middle of the town it was quiet and peaceful.

Perfect place to stay.

Such a lovely warm ( it’s early March) clean present room with a modern warm, clean shower room. Perfect position in the town to visit the basilica or the lake. There are shops and cafes within easy reach. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Very helpful and kind host.

Very comfortable bed, we slept very well. Everything was arranged very smoothly, the room was spacious as well as the bathroom.

It has an open shower and the toilet got wet, personally I’m not a fan of this type of bathroom. But the good side is that the bathroom is long so the part of the sink remained always dry.

Cute town, lovely room with en-suite

Such a great private room for a stop over on our trip. Cathy and her daughter were so welcoming and offered great recommendations for nearby places to visit, a restaurant for dinner and a local spot for breakfast the day we left. Nice decoration and little touches.

I'm slightly allergic to feather pillows, so an extra pillow with no feathers in the wardrobe would have been a bonus! I should have asked about this beforehand though.

We booked online with very short notice late around 6pm on a Winter's night, in a time of Covid and 2 hours before French evening curfew started. Tired family, long travelling day. To our horror when we arrived at the accomodation, which had been confirmed, there was noone there, the whole building was shut and dark and we had about 30 mins to find alternative accom. before curfew started! We managed to send a text to the property, but otherwise we had run out of phone credit. And the kids were hungry and needed to go to the toilet. We sped away up the road towards Chateauroux. By some strange stroke of luck we decided to turn around and to head a different direction, and as we passed the previously booked accom- we saw lights on in the same building!! The owner was there hurredly preparing for us. He had got our message. The accom. had been shut for some time due to Covid and there was some confusion with the owner and Booking.com and whether bookings could or were able to be made. Nevertheless, the owner had come to the property to turn the heating on, set up beds, linen, kitchenette for us. He was genuinely apologetic and extremely helpful and pleasant. The room was tastefully appointed and freshly renovated in a modern style. A little dusty due to our short notice and quite cold again for the same reason. However, the heating had been turned on and after some hours the room was warm. The bathroom was very cold, but again this was only due to the property being closed and our short notice. The kitchen facilities/amenities were thoughtfully planned. Beds very comfortable. It was a big, very pleasant, comfortable room. The location right next to the Mairie and its lovely little square, and school, was perfect.

More bath towels to suit number of people staying. (but this again was most probably as a result of our short notice). Small microwave in the kitchen would have been useful as there is only one new glass induction ring plate (big ring). We had some trouble working out had to turn on this plate (and then we read the instructions!)

Nervy Holy Mausoleum. Bad translation?

Very pleasant village location in the hollow heart of France. Came across a surprising and stunning small chateau on the way at St George sur Lys.

The common areas in the building were not clean although my room was fine. There was a minimal attempt at tea and coffee in the room but no milk and no biscuits. The floor was sloping. I thought it might have been just my impression having had a few drinks in the evening, but it still sloped in the morning. The owner showed me in and I never saw him again.

Good value for money

The room was spacious enough, and the bathroom was new. We booked the same day, so there wasn't much choice in the area, and for this the price was very good for what we had, although the building doesn't look like the rooms would be that comfortable. The furniture was a mix of old and newer furniture.

Unfortunately they had a fair on the parking area in town, so we had a bit of a hard time to park our car. Access to the room was via a narrow set of stairs, so we were happy to have packed in a way that we didn't have a large suitcase. The bedside table was very dusty in the not so obvious corners.

Agréable et cosy, nous avons passé un bon moment.

Les portes de chambre anciennes sont vraiment très jolies mais niveau insonorisation ce n'est pas idéal... Dès 8h30 nous avons pu profiter des conversations, fous rires et des aboiements du chien des personnes occupant la chambre d'en face. Est-ce la faute des portes ou du manque de savoir-vivre des voisins, j'avoue être partagé sur la question.

Mooie smaakvolle ingerichte kamers. Koffie en thee aanwezig. Alles prima voor een mooie prijs. Naast het gebouw is een groot parkeerterrein waar je gemakkelijk gratis kunt parkeren.

Un très bon séjour à Neuvy Saint Sépulchre

Chambre très bien située, proche de la basilique, au calme, avec des commerces et un restaurant à côté. Cela correspond parfaitement à la description. Katie m'a gentiment permis d'arriver à l'heure qui me convenait. J'ai été surclassée, que demander de plus!

Très peu de réseau pour mon opérateur téléphonique à Neuvy Saint Sépulchre, mais l'établissement n'y peut rien

Una breve sosta ma fondamentale!

Abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte durante il nostro viaggio verso la Bretagna. Abbiamo molto apprezzato la possibilità di soggiornare insieme al nostro cane e il self check in fuori orario di reception! La camera era molto accogliente ed è presente un comodo parcheggio a pochi passi dalla struttura. Anche la comunicazione con l’host è stata chiara e piacevole!

Appartement joliment décoré et suffisamment spacieux situé au centre du village. Correctement équipé. La disponibilité et la sympathie du patron du café en face de la place.

La manque de propreté. Interrupteurs, porte sales. Oreiller avec des traces de rouge à lèvre et des taches. Tapis manquant de fraicheur

Facile à trouver Facile de se garer, au cœur du village Accueil professionnel, aussi chaleureux et sympathique de Katy. Jolie chambre récemment rénovée avec une déco très sympa où on se sent bien tout de suite. Plateau avec machine à café, bouilloire et vaisselle nécessaire si vous voulez prendre un petit-déjeuner sur place, la boulangerie est à 2 pas. Sinon le café en face sert les petits déjeuners. A ne surtout pas manquer la visite de la Basilique juste en face ! Mille merci Katy pour notre sympathique échange.
