We had a great stay At the chateau. We particularly loved the diner on the terrasse with the other guests, the friendliness of the host and the team. We were traveling with little kids and it was amazing. The park of the chateau is so big for the kids to run around.
Wifi coverage was not the best

The positive reviews are right - this is an amazing building in a great location. The decor is charismatic, and the space generous. Colas is a most friendly and responsive host, and it feels like a real passion for him. This place is probably best enjoyed in summer, when lots of other guests are present, when I'm sure its unique features and no doubt beautiful grounds really stand out.
Unfortunately, we arrived on a cold and very wet autumn evening. Colas had let us know earlier in the day, very nicely, that he wouldn't be there, so we entered an empty and a bit dark chateau entirely by ourselves that wasn't the warm and convivial atmosphere we were hoping for. We had to leave early before breakfast was available at 0830. It's no-one's fault, but it is a reminder that this place is probably best enjoyed in summer, perhaps for a wedding, and not on a dark, wet, raining evening when no-one else is there and it's dark and cold :-(

Absolutely superb! I was travelling with my little puppy and the grounds were perfect for him to run around. Cola was charming and incredibly helpful. The room was amazing, the breakfast was fantastic, I really cannot fault this place. I wish I had discovered it earlier!!
Nothing. It was perfect.

This was our second time staying at the château, five years apart, and it was just as special as we remembered. The place is amazing — family-run with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, yet set in such grand surroundings. Our room was incredible, and the whole experience felt unique. Well worth the stay!

A stunning chateau with olde world charm and large bedroom with huge windows overlooking the parkland.
Continental breakfast was good quality, locally sourced where possible and extensive, served by a very attentive, friendly and convivial host.
Very minor point that tea bags were not provided in the room, decaf where available please.

Firstly this property certainly gives impact. It’s very dog friendly. The setting is calm, large gardens surround the property. It’s in the middle of France so a perfect stop over if travelling South or North. The hosts Colas and Vannack could not be more friendly, polite and helpful. Sande makes sure your breakfast is perfect. She’s also amazingly helpful and friendly. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

The staff were very welcoming. The room was large and stylish. the breakfast very good and laid out well on the table so no walking to get things on a tray. the evening meal produced from local produce was extremely tasty.
we are both around 80 years so could have done with a room not on the 3rd floor. Next time we will ask. the shower facilities over a high bath was for us a bit scary. maybe a tv in the room would have been nice.

The location, the beautiful mansion, the gardens, the atmosphere of the interior with all it’s antique furniture. A wonderful breakfast is served too and dreaming away on the terrace with a chilled wine are only a few of the delights this place has to offer.
everything was absolutely amazing. from the first arrival till departure.

This chateau met all our desires to spend a night in an old, charming castle. The chateau and grounds are gorgeous, and the rooms are large and comfortable. Our host was very welcoming and engaging, and provided an excellent breakfast in a large room where we could get to know our fellow guests.

This is our second stay here. It is a gem of a place to stay. The location is beautiful, set in its vast tranquil grounds, and we had a delicious evening meal prepared especially for us by Vannack, and a great breakfast. At both meals, much of the produce is sourced locally. The rooms are huge and the furnishings and decoration reflect the history of the château. We will definitely visit again.
Everything was great.

it’s as beautiful as it looks and there’s a pool, gym and library too. our host was absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough for us
the bedroom doors don’t lock from the outside so you have to have a huge amount of trust to leave the room unattended! the host was lovely so we trusted him but not sure about other guests.
there’s a young German shepherd dog who lives there and loves to run IN FRONT OF the cars as they drive in and out. I realised too late that he also runs in and out of all the bedrooms when the doors are open during the day and the bedroom carpets are thick with dog hair which I wish I’d noticed before walking around in socks

For one night I felt like I was a French aristocrat; Colas is a wonderful host.
I joined the other guests for informal dinner. As a the only solo traveller and the only one who did not speak French I was made for to feel welcome and the food was delicious.

This chateau was utterly fantastic. The owner, Colas, is absolutely amazing - friendly, funny, extremely helpful. His staff is also fantastic. It is a great place to stay and we will return. It's also a wonderful place for a family - pool, badminton, lots of property to walk and play. The breakfast is fantastic and if you are there on a weekend when they cook dinner you must stay for the dinner. It's exceptional and it's so nice to meet people as we sit together for dinner. This place is beyond five star in my book. I loved the location also.
Absolutely nothing.

This Château in the middle of nowhere was an absolute treat. We found it utterly charming.
We liked everything. The property is very historic, full of antiques, with a really relaxed convivial approach to shared dining. It wouldn’t be for everyone, but we absolutely loved it.
