There was a Real log fire in Common Area - Breakfast room Friendly staff in restaurant

Very dated decor in general Small room with rubber floor. Loads of internal doors in room, complicated. No usb ports We changed our mind and decided to have breakfast and receptionists was a bit flustered, not handled well Restaurant delivered the wrong main course, but were nice and apologised. Pretty basic place with cheap decor.

The room was small, but the en suite facilities and the bed were all good. Breakfast was typical continental, but decent quality, and we enjoyed an excellent dinner in the restaurant.

Further out of town than we would have wished, and a little difficult to find despite satnav being used.

We booked for an evening meal in the ‘restaurant ‘ Which turned out to be a shed with evidence of water damage. The food was dreadful and almost inedible. The staff didn’t question why it was barely touched. The wine was poor and came in a water bottle. It was expensive for the quality. There was no ambience. A huge mistake on our part to think that Logis had minimum standards for restaurants

A very pleasant stay

Nice hotel, friendly welcome. Well appointed and clean rooms. Coffee and refreshments available free. A decent Breakfast typical French fayre. There isn't any food or drink outlets in walking distance but the restaurant at the hotel was reasonably priced and the food was good.

A very pleasant overnight stop and one that I would be happy to repeat.

Although this was just an overnight stop, the staff were most helpful and courteous. Our room was cool and pleasant and most comfortable. Dinner was served outside and was a pleasant experience amongst the trees.

The receptionists and owner were very pleasant, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was wonderful and we ate in their restaurant for dinner which was excellent and soooo friendly.

Lovely hotel, even better, a superdooper restaurant

Love this hotel - it's quiet, clean, the staff are so helpful even with non french speakers. The rooms are ample, and clean. The restaurant is absolutely fabulous. We love the food there, it's very special.

Unfortunately, we'd asked for rooms close, and although we were only upstairs, I should have asked for a downstairs room. So, what I didn't like was the stairs (no lift) but that is my fault, and not theirs.

Bed was rock hard , very little sleep due to the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. Had no lift which made it difficult for my mother and no disabled or downstairs rooms left.

The hotel gave us a ground floor room as requested. Room good size. Comfortable bed. The restaurant and food are great, although drinks are a little expensive. The staff were polite, friendly and the receptionist was very helpful. The location is great for us and is quiet.

The walk in shower was slippery which could be dangerous. It took a very long time to get hot water in both shower and basin, both in the evening and morning. The room could do with some more lighting as a little dark. Drinks in restaurant expensive. Breakfast although adequate (you certainly don't get as much as we have been offered in previous years) is overpriced if you only want coffee and croissant.

Furnishings make a good impression and are not as worn as in other hotels.

- When checking in, the person at the reception told me that I don't need to pay as Booking.com already payed/withdraw it from my account. I asked the women at the reception to check this again but she confirmed it. On the next day I received a message from Booking that this stay was canceled (afterwads!) and further I received an SMS (not via the Booking.com message system!) that I need to pay the money now somehow via different ways. This looks very fishy as the whole communication is done beside the booking.com system and at least will result in a scam of Booking.com as they don't get the provision for their service and in the worst I payed the room twice. - Room were very small. - Only french TV channels. Nothing international.

Exceptional

We stayed twice on our way to and from our holiday in the Dordogne. It's not often that I return to the same place twice but this was such a pleasure. So convenient for the motorway, the perfect overnight hotel stop. Very clean and spacious rooms, very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean bathrooms,delicious and plentiful breakfast, all at a reasonable price. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome throughout our stay. The restaurant on site is a huge asset to the hotel, very good food and at a great price, again the staff were very polite, friendly and efficient and we ate in the lovely garden the first time, and inside the restaurant on our return due to expected bad weather.

Nothing, I cannot fault the excellent service and comfortable stay we enjoyed on both occasions.
