It’s our stay of choice on that journey.

We like virtually everything about this hotel. It’s situation, roughly halfway in our journey. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the room is clean and quiet , the bed is big and comfortable. There is lots of hot water.

The breakfast !! For such a good hotel in every respect the breakfast really lets it down. The choice isn’t huge and what is offered isn’t up to much. The cooked breakfast (sausage bacon and scrambled egg) was very mediocre and the fruit had seen better days. We have stayed several times and the breakfast was always of the same quality. It’s rather a surprise as everything else is done really well.

breakfast room is a bit gloomy but food selection was adequate. Bar and restaurant have quite early/unusual closing times. Needs more staffing

Fabulous food, great rooms and great staff.

The room exceeded our expectations, but.....................the restaurant was fabulous. A mixture of older, experienced staff and some youngsters, all very helpful. The food was just wonderful.

Very good staff and room, but no bar or dining on a Sunday evening is sub-standard for 4*

No bar or restaurant service on a Sunday, which after an eight hour drive was very inconvenient!

At least if the bar was open and there were snacks available, we might have settled for that in the absence of the restaurant service.

Unexpectedly neat and attractive hotel, well presented and maintained, like its staff

Worthy of its category rating: a compact and tidy overnighting favourite of ours. Very professional and smart staff, similarly so for the good quality furnishings. It serves great food and drink in it's outdoor terrace/indoor bar restaurant. Also had a surprisingly good air-conditioned further restaurant which we had not previously tried but we're even further impressed by.

Excellent hotel - will stay again

Super quality hotel. Quite an isolated location but well connected to A20 and Chateauroux. Room was huge, well equipped and very comfortable and clean. Pool was great. We didn’t eat at the restaurant as we chose to get a burger from a more child friendly restaurant nearby but the food looked excellent and the restaurant was very busy. Breakfast was very good. Will stay again for sure!

Dinner could have been a bit more (small) child friendly but lots of other nearby options

Good, clean hotel in a handy location with a good restaurant.

Good stop off hotel for the the drive to Spain, the hotel is close to the motorway but in a quiet area next to an art-deco looking airport (We didn't hear any planes during our stay) Plenty of free parking spaces. The rooms were comfortable and the on-site restaurant was excellent. There's a supermarket and decent bakery nearby too.

great location, restaurant superb, friendly staff who will speak English which is helpful as my French is poor. Comfy room and great shower.

the only thing is that the breakfast isn’t so good as other hotels. the hot food was only warm and also the hot water to make tea was not hot enough either, that said we would stay again as the overall hotel experience is good.

Exceptional

Our second visit. We treat ourselves on our way back from our holiday. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Restaurant/food/service exceptional. I took my dog into the restaurant where he laid flat out. The staff took it all in their stride. I love stopping here. This is what good service is all about. The French do it so well.

The air conditioning was not working and no pool available but the food and the service was amazing

The evening meal was amazing, attentive staff in the restaurant and front desk 👍👍

The pool was not open when we arrived due to seasonal change and probably energy crisis issue across the world, which we understand, but this should have been made clear on their website or communication to us considering there are not many hotels locally with pools. By the way the website does not make it clear on whether it’s a heated or non heated pool, this would be helpful.
