This is a good 3-star hotel for a weekend stay, offering comfortable rooms, basic amenities, and a convenient location f

The bed, the breakfast and the location are very good. Also the staff is very nice and helpful.

The bathroom was quite small and in poor condition. Water from the shower leaked onto the floor, making the area messy. The materials appeared very old, and the toilet flush was broken, running continuously on our last night. A thorough renovation would greatly improve the experience.

Excellent stay

This hotel is situated near the base of the monasteries in the lovely village of Kastraki. The room was a suitable size and the facilities were very good. The breakfast was outstanding. The close proximity to the monasteries was a bonus. There were good choices of restaurants for dinner.

Great location to stay near the Meteora monasteries

Well positioned on the road to the monasteries. The receptionist gave us great advices to reach the Meteoras.

Convenient location on the road to the monasteries. Pleasant staff and nice room with small balcony with table and two chairs looking towards the Meteora. Lots of breakfast options.

Great location - great staff

Maybe the hotel the closest to the monasteries and right on the main road to them; thus no need to drive through the town. Two tavernas across the street and a few more up and down the road. Also a souvenir shop across the street. Very friendly staff and very knowledgeable about all the monasteries (number of steps, history etc.! - fantastic). Had a room with a balcony to the back - great to sit and relax but little view.

The hotel is a bit dated. The WiFi was slow - good for email but not for streaming.

Perfect location Meteora to see the monasteries

Perfect location with view of monastery perched on Meteora. Prefer staying here to Kalambaka as the road up to the monasteries starts at Kastraki. Hotel was well located and only a few minutes away from local tavernas. Parking was available on site at no cost (convenient). Great information from reception on when to do what and generally very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very traditional but that's ok as it fits with the location, we liked it.

Breakfast was very simple, more options would be nice.

Great location. Fantastic view of Meteora rocks from our balcony. Staff was exceptional, especially Effi.

Shower was difficult, and breakfast was mediocre, at best, compared to other places we stayed in Greece. Place needed an update.

The front desk staff are amazing - very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is decent, with scrambled eggs and cold options. The view is terrific from some of the rooms. Close walk to a few tavernas.

Very dated, ancient air conditioner and hair dryer didn’t really work, and I think we got a smoking room by accident. There was no option to choose, and it smelled very bad. I think other rooms were better though.

Location, close to hiking path to the Great Monastary. Good breakfast

This was the second our staying in the hotel. The hotel in really great location : very close to the monasteries and nice trails. Lot of restaurants within walking distance. Good breakfast, very clean, great staff. Comfortable bed.

Your perfect place to stay in Meteora

The location was simply perfect! Nestled in the beautiful town of Kastraki overlooking Meteora. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with beautiful decor. The breakfast in the morning was also excellent!!

The only negative point, if any, was that the AC in the bedroom did not work. However we didn’t mention it to the management as our stay was short, so maybe they would have fixed it.

What a view! Could see two monasteries from room!

Kastraki Hotel was a great choice for three days in Meteora. Extremely friendly both in the hotel and in the community around. Staff very helpful with a map and advice on how to visit monasteries and organised transport with an exceptional driver (who was well informed on the area and more than happy to share his knowledge). Great wifi. Great breakfast. Great views. Two atmospheric and good inexpensive restaurants with 2 to 3 minutes walk.
