San Giorgio Villa

We were on the ground floor so we didn’t have to climb any more stairs once we were back. You can hear the birds singing in the morning. Staff was responsive to our requests. Also it was convenient to get to nearby restaurants for dinner.

Part of this was my fault and confusion with the booking because there were multiple options that appeared the same but had different prices. Clearly there was more to it so our room was definitely bottom of the barrel. The AC was super noisy and the heat kept turning on automatically and we couldn’t turn it off so we were either roasting or had to run the super noisy ac to keep it remotely comfortable. There is no screen and so we could t just open the door. The shower curtain was pretty gross and didn’t really work and the WiFi in this room was terrible.

The location is very nice and convenient, especially for visiting Meteora. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and they also suggested a great place to eat nearby. Breakfast was nice as well, and overall the stay was pleasant and comfortable.

The only downside was that the common kitchen area was quite dirty. It would be great if this shared space was maintained better.

Excellent location, just in step of mountain. Nice and quiet place. Self-service at check-in, it was clear and understandable instructions

The bed was too hard.

Good location (very near a good walking path towards Meteora). Large, pleasant common area with comfy armchairs. Beautiful views. Plenty of parking just outside the hotel.

Hard mattress and poor pillows. Breakfast (lack of options and overall quality).
