Good value accomodation in a central location, well cared for.

Location was central and close to the mini market and local tavernas, lovely views across to the mountains and within walking distance of the museum and lower areas of Meteora. Our host was hospitable and kept the tea and coffee facilities topped up, the room was cleaned regularly and we enjoyed the terrace which you could access from the room. Meteora is a short drive up the hill and if you take the back road to Kalabaka which takes about 15 minutes, it’s difficult not to stop at every viewpoint along the way (every view is amazing). We visited in November and the Taverna’s were shutting for the winter, Kalabaka is much larger and only 6 minutes drive, we went there in the evening to eat, all the places we ate at were excellent and very good value for money, meals around 9 euro’s, beer 4 and coffee 3.50.

Unfortunately there were a lot of flies - maybe due to the grape vines which were cut back during our stay.

Thé best view in Kastraki

Very nice original decorated room with amazing views from the terrace on the rocks and the village of Kastraki. Very friendly and helpful owners.

Amazing view from terrace. Easy communication and a lot of information from owner.

Bathroom very small. Shower pressure is low (which is kind of normal in many places in Greece). Parking is not guaranteed. If you come late, parking spots can be occupied already.

A nice guesthouse handy to restaurants and all the sights.

The room was comfortable with an outside terrace with comfortable chairs. The freshly picked grapes given to us by our host. The handy location for exploring Meteora.

The place is on a main road so you will get traffic noise at certain times of the day. However the doors to the terrace are double glazed for sound insulation.

Beautiful guesthouse with amazing view over the Meteora cliffs

This must have been one of our favourite stays in Greece. This guesthouse has an amazing view over the surrounding mountains and Meteora cliffs, including a huge shared balcony where you can sit, eat, chill and meet with others if you so desire. The place is kept very very clean, tidy and neat. Furthermore, it is close to many small restaurants, a mini market and Meteora itself. All in all a highly recommended stay!

Nothing. Sometimes the walls can be a little bit thin so you can occassionally hear the other guests, but nothing disrupting at all!

We booked the room for a night, and only 2 days before our arrivel they changed our room and the price, claiming the room price is for 2 person not for 3 (family with a child). The room we chose gave us booking for 2 adults and a child and the price was for a room! So it was very unprofessional!
