Great hotel, awesome restaurant!

The hotel was great, we stayed in a Suite with Jacuzzi and loved it - big, very comfortable room, very quiet, had a bottle a white wine waiting for us in a minibar ( complimentary). The restaurant is absolutely awesome, all the dishes were excellent. We booked half-board and it was a really smart decision, as every dish we tried was amazing. On a check out date we had lunch in a restaurant outside, in Kastraki village ( Efrosino), and you can't event compare the two - the hotel restaurant Senses was an absolute winner ( we only ate this once outside as the hotel restaurant opens at 3:30PM and we had to leave earlier).

The set up was exactly as shown in the photos so no surprises .. Only better in real life..cozy , warm , clean and very inviting. The service was amazing as was all the staff.. Its location was easy to get to.. Very close from the monasteries at Meteora

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in Greece

This hotel is fabulous! The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We had a junior suite with hot tub and it was wonderful. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms large and well appointed. They restocked the bottles of water each day and there was even a complimentary bottle of wine when we arrived! We had dinner in the restaurant the first night and the food was amazing. I highly recommend the mushrooms as a starter. I cannot say enough positive about our experience; one of the nicest hotel stays we have had in Greece.

What a fantastic place for a long weekend getaway and a chance to explore the region

The staff were extraordinarily helpful. The room was super comfortable and we were downstairs without the hot tubs. We had dinner there tonight and the food was absolutely delicious. And the location was amazing.

Wonderful option for Meteora

Great hotel, in an excellent location. One of the closest to the monasteries. We also really enjoyed our dinner at the hotel. The food was delicious and among the best we've had in the area. The included breakfast was terrific, with many options of high-quality ingredients. The staff is very accommodating and is trying hard to respond to your requests.

Our room had a tub, so the overall room layout was a bit quirky. So while the room was large, there were no really comfortable places to sit around/lounge except the bed. Also, not enough shelving to take your stuff out of the suitcases. Also the parking situation could be a bit challenging if the hotel occupancy is high, since the hotel does not have a dedicated parking lot and one has to park on a local street with a limited number of spots close by.

Beautiful hotel easy access to monasteries

Beautifully designed well maintained property. Very easy access to the monasteries with fantastic views. Staff was extremely responsive to any needs. The restaurant associated with the hotel , Senses, makes for an excellent experience for the evening meal and is very reasonably priced.

Romantic getaway

This place was amazing and very enjoyable to stay at. Location was great and the area is pretty quiet.

Only one downside I can say about this hotel. It advertisers it’s an Adult friendly/adults only hotel and yet they when we sat down at the restaurant on the premises to have a drink there were kids there. I’m not sure if they were hotel guests or just some patrons eating at the hotel’s restaurant. Either way when I book at an Adult only hotel I don’t want to share the restaurant with noisy kids. I can get that at home.

Excellent hotel for touring Meteora region

The property has a beautiful setting with Meteora’s pillars in view. The outdoor dining seating also has very nice views. The rooms have unique names and features such as the sauna suite where I stayed which featured a sauna. Moreover, the staff was extremely friendly which really stood out.

Nothing to dislike. I will say the door entry to the rooms was a little tricky to operate but that are of a high quality.

Comfort in Meteora!

The staff at the hotel was so lovely! They have a great restaurant where we ate with a view of Meteora. The room was comfortable and very clean. It’s right at the edge of town, within a nice walking distance to the first monastery. We would definitely stay here again!

A charming boutique hotel with wonderful people

It's quiet, near meteora, so it makes it convenient when taking a tour or doing any of the activities related to metaora. The staff was great, friendly, warm and super helpful.

Lack of parking. But to be fair, parking in kastraki is quite difficult to find due to narrow roads and the nature of the town itself. So it's not really the hotels fault. Though finding a place to park is difficult, the hotel staff were more than helpful to let us park in front of the hotel.

Near perfect stay, but nothing is ever 100%

Easy to find, nice rural village location yet not isolated or remote. Has got just the right mix of proximity to the village square, tavernas, mini marts and hiking trails. Free and adequate parking. The people maketh the place and the staffs always makes us comfortable and feels welcomed. The showers have proper sliding doors that separate it effectively so that the toilet does not get wet from the water after a shower.

For non-smokers, you can still smell some smoke when others smokes. we did not try to locate the smoker, but we definitely could smell it in the room despite the closed door and windows. Not any one's fault, just how the place is. not a big deterrent to choosing to stay here again if we ever return to Kastraki.
