Rocks Republic

The location was beautiful beneath the towering rock walls. It is about a 10-15 minute uphill walk from the village which we did not mind. The walk up to The Holy Trinity Monastery was fantastic, about 45 minutes, quite steep and very good track. The apartments are nicely renovated, very clean and with everything you need. Leo was charming and very helpful.

Beautiful, clean, Leo was very friendly, close to the start of the hike to the monasteries. Well equiped.

Depending on your personal situation, the location can be challenging. About 700m to town centre. All downhill, which means coming back can be challenging if you struggle with mobility. We considered it a small price for the view, the solitude and close proximity to the start of the hike to the monasteries.

Fantastic place to stay! Eva & Leo were absolutely perfect hosts. Communication with Leo was amazing from start to finish. He helped us find the property, gave us excellent recommendations on where to go and where to eat, and took the time to show us how everything works in apartment. He was incredibly friendly, positive, and welcoming. The accommodation was everything we could have hoped for – cozy, modern, spotless, and equipped with everything we needed. The view was absolutely stunning, and the location was excellent, just a 5–10 minute walk from the city. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!
