Spacious modern rental with direct trail access

The location right at the beginning of the Holy Trinity Trail was perfect. Communication around arrival, departure and local recommendations was lovely. Accommodations were modern, spacious, well-designed and the floor heating was a nice unexpected extra on this winter trip. Parking was easy.

I fully recommend this property. Excellent accommodations in an otherworldly location.

Very close to the monasteries of Meteora- a wonderful trail leads to them. Very quiet, clean, well appointed, and within walking distance to everything. Hosts were great and accommodating. I arrived a bit late, but they kindly adapted for me.

A bit difficult to find (my maps program was no help) but the host gave me directions via WhatsApp. He greeted me at the car, showed me where to park, and helped me with my baggage. Hardly anything I’d consider a “dislike”; more of a challenge than anything!

A perfect choice - do be repeated !

Rocks Republic do not serve breakfast, we knew this of course and it was not a problem, they recomended several good alternatives in the nearby center of the village, both for breakfast and lunch/dinner

There was nothing we did not like :-) !! If we go back one day we would like to stay in the same place.

Homely studio apartment in excellent location in the old town with amazing views

Fantastic location and lovely and clean studio apartment. Minutes from a hiking trial to Agia Trias monastery. Contact was made through the helpful Eva on the phone and we were greeted by her exuberant brother Leo, a lovely guy who was very friendly and helpful. He is the host and his equality lovely Mum, Sophia does the cleaning. Incredible views from the terrace and easy walk to the centre of the main town. You must eat at family restaurant Meteora in the centre of Kalambaka, amazing service and food.

Comfortable and pleasant design apartment. Situated in a quiet location just under the rocks. Nice view from the terrace, short walk to the city center. Very friendly and caring landlord with good and fast communication.

It’s a gem!

I especially appreciated the tasteful interior, the tranquility and views from the patio, the comfy bed, great shower and warm hospitality. Would definitely book again.

As someone else wrote, and as stated in the description, it is a bit of a walk if you come without a car and have a lot of luggage, but the hosts were incredibly helpful with that.

Lovely place in a perfect location.

In Old Kalambaka, very quiet and atmospheric. Byzantine Church just next door. Lovely sit-out with views of the rocks.

Nothing at all. A little bit high up at the edge of the village so could be tiring to hike up there after lunch or dinner in town. Really didn't bother us though.

An amazing view, huge bed and new apartment. The hosts were so amazing, lovely to talk to and there to help. Top accommodation choice.

The place is nearly the highest point in kalabaka, so it means it has amazing views and great access to the monastery trail, but if you have bags you might want to taxi here. We hiked from the bus station and it required energy

We had a short but very relaxing stay here. The guests, Eva and her brother, Leo, were very nice and helpful.

It is a very nice studio, clean and cozy, positioned just under the rocks with a stunning views both from windows and/or terrace.

Nice location uphill. Mr Leo was very helpful in providing all amenities and in providing local information.

There was ironing board but no iron. I am sure this was just an oversight and could be improved upon.

Spotlessly clean. Beautifully furnished and super comfortable. Leo was extremely helpful. The view from our balcony was beautiful. This place is a convenient 10 mins by car walk from all the main shops/ tavernas. Parking was easy . Great place, great location!

This is a seriously lovely place to spend time. Right near the walking trail up to some of the monasteries. The suite is beautifully renovated with lovely decor. Quiet, epic views, very comfortable and amazing value.

Perfect stay @ Rock’s Republic

Rocks Republic is a perfect place to stay in Meteora. It is accessible by car and there are enough spots to park. The room is large, modern and has everything you need. The bed sleeps really well! From the Airbnb, you have a nice view over the city, and over the Meteora rocks. We even sat outside for a little bit, and it is no problem that this apartment does not have a big balcony/terrace, there is plenty of space to sit. Furthermore, my boyfriend and myself really liked the short walk to the city centre: it is approximately 5-10 min, depending on the restaurant you want to eat, and it is nice to see the different buildings. There are many good restaurants nearby. Concluding, we can definitely recommend this place, and if we ever return to Meteora, we will stay here again. Lastly, the communication with Eva and Leo was perfect, and when we were a bit afraid that we were going to arrive too late in Meteora, they reassured us and would welcome us even though it was late, which was extremely nice and friendly.

Great host, great property and great value.

Leo gave us a designated parking spot during our stay which was such a big deal because his property was situated in the narrow and winding roads, so having to find parking spot and schlepping luggages thru the steps would be a real nightmare. Thank you Leo!

The AC was making noice that cause our first night sleep. We managed to fixed for the second night.

Very comfortable, peaceful location, friendly host

Beautifully renovated room with everything that you need. Extremely friendly host. Location is on the outer edge of Kalampaka, so there is a short uphill walk from most restaurants and shops. However, the location also guarantees that it is very quiet and peaceful. Overall, highly recommended.

Fantastic stay in Kalambaka

The apartment is on the edge of town, next to the footpath to the Trinity Monastery (the one in the 007 movie). Very comfortable stay. Eva and Leo are super friendly and responsive and made us feel very welcome. They left us with goodies for brekkie and snacks. We like the location as it's an easy walk to the restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries, but not in the centre when it can be noisy and busy. Really easy to park about 20-30 metres from the apartment, and the whole area feels very safe. We wouldn't have done the walk to the Trinity Monastery if we didn't stay there either.

Wonderful and welcoming stay - the landscape of Meteora is breath-taking!

It was like arriving at good old friends' house. Very warm welcome, great and very responsive hosts. Lovely apt. with great view of the rocks and monasteries. Very quiet and hiking path to the rocks starts right behind the house.

Simply beautiful. Great location for hiking to two of the monasteries. Wonderful service and communication. Easy walk to local restaurants and cafes but very quiet. There is a reason it scores so high. The well thought out details and amenities make this place a gem. We liked it so much we extended our trip.

Nice place to stay overnight! Good value for money.

The communication with Eva was very smooth. She and her brother Leonidas were very friendly and hospitable. We stayed at RR overnight and left early in the morning. The room was neat and comfortable, and has a beautiful mountain view from the window. It is quite close to the main street where all coffee shops and restaurants are located.

Rare find in Kalabaka

We had a good feeling about the property even before we got there, because the communication was very good with the owner. The room was very nice and modern, with great attention to details and everything you needed. As we worked as well, having a proper table in the room was of great help. The location was easy to find and offered a great view right from the balcony. There is a construction site next to it, which we were informed about, but it did not bother us at all. Nearby parking.

No negatives, for our short stay we only found positives here.

Enjoyable stay at family-run guesthouse

We had a very brief stay, but communication was quick and easy and the facilities were all excellent. You have a nice view of both the city and mountains when you sit on the terrace. All-in-all a great experience, and I definitely see us coming back to this place if we decide to visit again.

Perfect spot in town

Eva and Leo were very welcoming and friendly and everything was provided to make our stay at the apartment and in Kalambaka comfortable and easy. The apartment is incredibly comfortable and immaculately clean. The location is within easy walking difference of the town centre and it tucked away in a nice, quiet area.
