A few seats in the balcony would be nice. Although it was to cold to really use it. The parking lot is useful. But it is unpaved. It contrasts much with the clean look of the hotel.

Hotel Orfeas is centrally located and offers a stunning view of the impressive Meteora rock formations. One of the hotel's main highlights is the spacious outdoor swimming pool, which guests can access for free, along with complimentary use of the sun loungers. The triple room we received for a family with an 8-year-old child was spacious, with a mountain view and a balcony facing the main road, which is fairly busy. Breakfast is very good. It's a traditional Greek breakfast—not overly varied, but tasty. What more could you need besides a few delicious pastries alongside some Greek yogurt?

We stayed here at the beginning of June 2025, and the pool closed at 6 PM. During the season, it would be great if it stayed open longer. Although the towels and bed linen were clean and disinfected, they might need to be replaced, as they show signs of wear and tear.

I want to mention the receptionist Dimitris who has excellent English and fantastic customer skills.

The pool was clean and wonderfully large and the pool area had many sunbeds. Great location very close to the main road.

The hotel is in a good location and the staff were polite. The room was clean. Breakfast was okay...

The bathroom was very tight. The bed and pillows were not comfortable. There was only one chair on the balcony and no table, which made it less enjoyable. The photos did not match the room I stayed in.

Pool out of action for months. Booked this hotel specifically for pool. Even filtered it in your website to pools that were open. Got there, no pool. Your customer service were rubbish, wouldn't let me change hotels. Never will I use your site again. Feel totally conned.

I do not recommend.

I appreciated the buffet style breakfast - which was available for the never ending flow of tour bus groups.

Front desk staff did not follow though on requests, unknowledgeable about hotel and did not offer any tourist information. Management was unresponsive. Pool View was of neglected mosquito filled swamp - nothing like their picture. Walls are paper thin, loud motorcycles allowed to park on patio below room at all hours of the night.

lukewarm showers poor room n property maintenance with broken tvs, poor wifi, safes that don’t work etc swimming pool closed for maintenance - not advised even though still promoted this facility on their website n booking.com bathrooms poorly designed n dangerous slippery marble tiles with broken fixtures Renovations underway on some floors

The bathtub.

I booked the hotel because of its location in Kalambaka close to the train station and bc of the pool. Got a message that it was closed and that they need to transfer me to another one of their hotel close by. Without additional fees. I thought that’s ok. The place was called Grand Meteora Hotel, supposedly 4.5 stars. I should have known better. It was 3k from the train station on a hill 1k from the next village. The hotel was at the end of a lonely road - a ghostly place nearly empty. Rooms were great. In addition to the dreadful location, the receptionist seemed incredibly unhelpful. Probably they had a rough day but when I asked for a public bus to the monasteries - which I knew from the internet there were - she did not know of any public bus. I would ask for the trail start she would reply I should take a guided tour but in a very unfriendly and rough manner. It might be cultural differences, language barriers. I was really unsatisfied with my stay and would like my money back. I made the best of the monasteries but I felt like I got in a tourist trap honestly. And food was horrible from coffee to anything else.

Ωραιο πρωινό, καθαρό ξενοδοχείο και πολύ ευγενικό το προσωπικό Σε πολύ βολικό σημείο. Κάποια δωμάτια έχουν θέα τα Μετέωρα και κάποια σε πισίνα.

Το μπάνιο ήταν ανακαινισμένο αλλά η μπανιέρα είχε ενα σκαλοπατάκι το οποίο την κάνει λίγο επικίνδυνη. Μια ντουζιέρα θα βόλευε πολύ περισσότερο.

Chambre très agréable et spacieuse, au calme côté piscine. La piscine, magnifique est le gros plus de cet hôtel: à notre arrivée, nous avons particulièrement apprécié la baignade avant d'aller contempler le coucher de soleil sur les Météores.

Quelques fruits frais au petit déjeuner auraient été appréciables.

La piscina , el desayuno y la proximidad a meteora. Tiene un Lidl cerca . La almohada era muy cómoda . Aire acondicionado bueno.

Nuestra habitación era justita, con cables colgando, puertas que no cierran, y poco espacio para pasar del baño a la habitación . El agua tardaba mucho en salir caliente. Y el wifi no iba. Sólo una percha.

Hôtel propre et bien placé

L’hôtel est très bien placé et la piscine est grande.

Le wifi dans les chambres ne fonctionnait pas, nous n’avons pas eu d’eau chaude pendant 2 jours, et dommage que la piscine soit envahie par des adolescents qui vraisemblablement ne logeaient pas à l’hôtel.
