Great location, wonderful views, friendly staff, clean, comfortable and very distinctive.

Wonderful location with up close views of the cliffs; Friendly and accommodating staff; Delightful property--definitely not a cookie cutter place. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Good breakfast. Steps away from nearby restaurants in the small, quiet village; 10 minute drive to Kalambaka for many restaurant choices and shopping.

Can be difficult to find the first time especially after dark. Lodging is tucked away off the main road--GPS may not be up to date.

Gorgeous view on the Meteora, very comfortable place & rooms

Beautiful guesthouse with very comfortable bed. The suit we stayed is spacious with a bedroom, a living room and a small dining area. Water kettle and refrigerator were provided. Location is stunning—perhaps the best in Meteora. We enjoyed our stay very much. Hot shower and pressure was great. The only thing needed to improve was the water not draining properly on the shower floor.

Charming hotel in heart if Meteora with kind hosts

Amazing location at the foot of Meteora. Very spacious room with sofa bed and queen bed. Our room also had access to a balcony. Breakfast is hearty and varied. Plenty of fresh towels and water provided. There is a large courtyard with chairs and resort sized umbrellas. The best part of our stay was the wonderful owners. They are very helpful to suggest tours, reserve spots at restaurants, and arrange for transportation. Thank you Constantinos, Alberta, and Nikos for all your hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay at Archontiko Mesohori Meteora. The accommodation was beautiful, the view was amazing, the staff were so friendly, helpful and kind. Breakfast was scrumptious. Would not have wanted or needed to stay anywhere else.

Comfortable stay with easy access to the monasteries

The property was at the end of the village and had nice large rooms and a large bathroom. Konstantinos and his mom Alberta were incredibly nice and hospitable. The room and bathroom had good quality amenities including an option for making tea and coffee. The breakfast was quite good and filling. There are a couple of nice restaurants which are walkable from the apartment. We had dinner at Gardenia restaurant which is highly recommended. We did not have any problems finding the place and it was a great place to visit the monasteries.

One of the most spectacular vistas you can get supported by fantastic accomodation and nearby facilities.

Great location and fantastic service from Konstantinos who gave us advice on what activities to do and even lent us walking poles for our trek up the nearby hill.

Bathroom not great with awkward shower and basin that didn’t drain very well. Given the age of the property, it’s understandable but could be improved. Importantly, there was plenty of hot water.

The property was amazing, the position to the rocks. The rooms were exceptionally set out, beds were amazingly comfortable. The service provided by Kosta was brilliant, very informative, is a great help with organising tours and just an amazing person. Would thoroughly recommend the property at every level.

A quiet retreat in the heart of touring climbing and walking region of Meteora.

Location was brilliant. The garden was beautiful for relaxing in with a beer and a book after a busy day touring. The owners were genuinely lovely people who know what hospitality is and they were generous in every way. A complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. Crisps when I was having a beer in the garden. The breakfast included in the room rate was also generous- cereals juice breads coffee poached eggs spinach pie apple cake - you name it - they had it. A mixture of continental and full English breakfast. The room has a separate lounge area with kitchenette, coffee pods and bottled water. The bedroom has a large comfortable queen size bed. The furnishings are rustic country style and very homely. Alberta and her husband were great communicators and offered us suggestions for dinner and sights. This property is a hidden gem - 5 minutes walk to town of Kastraki but also has a great cafe/bar across the road called Qastiro which served fab platter of sausages and those famous Greek potatoes!

Beautiful accommodation in the mountains of Meteora.

Super comfortable, really friendly owners, and beautiful views. What more could you ask for? Honestly if you are making the trip to Meteora this is the perfect place to stay, it is isolated yet near enough to fantastic tavernas and shops that you will not be without provisions.

I thought the accommodation was fantastic, I don't have any notes on what could be improved.

Best accommodation on Kastraki

What an incredible place to stay! The location is absolutely amazing, nestled in between the mountains and right in the heart of Kastraki which is a quaint village. The garden is beautiful, you can enjoy your breakfast there. There was good choice for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We stayed in the junior suite and it was spotlessly clean and very pretty.

Great location! The outdoor terrace was a surprise which we throughly enjoyed. The breakfast was delicious and amazing! The owners took care of everything and even arranged a last minute tour for our part of 9. We highly recommend these accommodations for your trip!!

Great family run B&B that I would recommend to everyone.

The breakfast is great. I watched them make the juice from the oranges right in front of me. The recommended taverna called "Gardenia" was excellent too. The view from our balcony could not be better.

Perfect!

Worth booking with this Hotel. It is a family run business and are very friendly, welcoming and have got a fantastic property right underneath the impressive formations of Meteora. We got an upgrade for our room by the host and got a room with a private sitting area with kitchenette and a balcony. Also had a bottle of wine waiting in our room on arrival and it was a very good local wine, well worth buying and perfect to drink in the evening. The balcony had fantastic view out to the rocks of Meteora and the sunset, if you ever want to get this room ask for room "Athena". Would definitely visit again. Breakfast was great, directions about where to go and what to see were offered to us and were very useful. Definitely worth staying there.
