Peaceful, blissful location

Beautiful, quiet, comfortable. The unit was very nice and clean with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. All appliances worked great, good heater. The host is very attentive and the price is fair. Would definitely stay here again.

Could use a better kitchen knife for cutting vegetables and a new cutting board.

Felt like home - very comfortable place to stay

The accomodation is close to the centre of Kastraki to get food from mini mart or restaurants. It is also within walking distance (20 minutes walk) to Kalambaka. The room was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The host was friendly.

The air in the room was a bit stuffy.

Well located accommodation

The studio included a double bed, a sitting area with a sofa and coffee table, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining area with a table and chairs. The bathroom was spacious and had a large walk-in shower. The entire apartment was tastefully decorated. Impeccably clean. Free parking available in front of the house. Very responsive and friendly owner.

Water from the shower easily overflowed onto the floor, but extra towels were quickly provided to resolve the situation.

We had a short, comfortable stay.

Great location under the mountains. Small studio apartment that had all the basic amenities for a short stay. Friendly and helpful owner who sent us a link for the location. (We unfortunately didn’t see it before we got lost in the dark and rain, which is on us.)

Small washroom. No microwave. The street is steep and narrow. We got lost using Google Maps, but Apple Maps worked.

Great little apartment

Great little apartment – clean, comfortable, and right by shops and restaurants. Parking was easy and the location is great for exploring the surrounding hills and monasteries.

It's up a short but steep side road, which was fine for us but worth bearing in mind for less mobile people.

Simple, modern, and great location

Nice little upgraded studio. Clean. Easy checkin (host lives in next building up the hill). The kitchen comes with basic equipment. Close to Kastraki center (tavernas, markets, square,...). Convenient to access the monasteries through walking trails or through road.

Great location and nice view of the rock formations.

Apartments nestled at the foothills of the Meteora rock formations. Very close to a few shops and restaurants and easy access to travel up to Monasteries. The hosts Nikos was very responsive and attentive.

Great apartment - clean, nicely decorated, good shower and very comfortable bed. Loved the location - surrounded by the rocks, the village is lovely and a great base for visiting the monasteries. Highly recommended.

Perfect view

The perfect location for a few days. The apartment was clean, the bed comfortable, and we had everything we needed. Nearby good restaurants and markets. If you come by car, you can go without a guide to see all the view sites and monasteries.

Perfect location to visit Meteora

Perfect location, very close to meteora, with walks available in the beautiful surroundings right when you step out your door. Very close to the town center so food and supermarket are very close by. The apartment was very clean and well organized, comfortable and spacious. The host is very kind and helpful. We also left our baby’s blanket there and he called to make sure we would come back for it. Thank you for a great stay!

perfect location, would stay here again

fantastic location, with a beautiful view of the surrounding area. very close to various restaurants and bars in kastraki, and a short walk from the museum in kastraki. very easy to be collected by tour guides to see the monasteries. there is also a car park, as you can drive to the monasteries on your own, although we did not bring our own car. our history was friendly and welcoming and the apartment was immaculate. very easy to communicate about our stay and even had some advice on how to travel to/from the location

Beautiful site, kind people, a challenge to find.

The people were very nice. Someone visiting in winter, as we did, should be aware that nearby restaurants are virtually all closed, so they will have to bring food with them or drive into Kalambaka.

There could be more signs to help people find it.

The whole.place was beautiful. The quietness was great, in the very center of the small town of Kastraki. Environmentally very conscious with a few pointers on saving energy and water. With a terrace outside, nice place to sit and soak in the neighbourhood.

This amazing guesthouse was in the most perfect spot, seemingly steps away from the spectacular boulders and sights of Meteora. Everything within was top notch (recently renovated and all sorts of goodies for travelers) and comfortable. Only wish we were staying longer to enjoy the room more.
