Bad stay

The room felt dirty, we saw some insects inside. Window blinds were stuck mid way, so you could neither move them to the top to be able to comfortably go out to the balcony, instead you had to crawl, nor you could close them for the night. The ‘vintage theme’ you see on the photos looks well only on the photos - in real life it feels as just old, kind of dirty and cringy. When we were leaving the hotel we were asked to leave the keys on the reception, which was weird. In the night, we were just talking, and someone slipped us a note telling they’ll call the police if we don’t go to sleep (instead of just asking)

It's a tired hotel on the edge of Gardone (20 minute walk into the old town), food good.

The view from the room and from the hotel restaurant was amazing. The staff is super kind and helpful. There is a parking on site for your car. The quality of the food at the restaurant and for the breakfast was very nice.

The room was a bit humid but a dehumifier was provided.

If you want to have a romantic getaway and really relax and recharge I can’t recommend this hotel enough!

Absolutely stunning hotel! The views from our balcony were spectacular. Really nice breakfast and the spa and pool was Particularly enjoyable, we had a massage and it was one of the best I’ve had. I also can’t compliment the staff enough, so helpful and very kind and polite.

Nothing I can fault, it was a perfect week long stay.

A beautiful hotel with stunning views of Lake Garda, just a little to far from the shore if you have no transportation.

The gardens were beautiful room 356 was perfect although some of the furniture was a little tired. However this only added to the charm of the place and in no way spoilt our appreciation of the room. The bed was hugh and very comfy. Both bedding and towels were good quality and changed regularly. The staff were very helpful and friendly although we did struggle at times with the language. Could not fault the breakfast fresh and plentiful. The outside swimming pool was excellent, very clean with plenty of loungers and umbrellas for shade. The pool bar served a good selection of different meals and drinks.

lack of written information. No instructions for using the safe. No indication that the drinks in the room fridge were complimentary. Personally we found the walk down the hill to the main road too steep and we really struggled to get back up. We only made it twice and on enquiring if we could hire a taxi we were told it was unlikely because it wasn’t far enough to make it worth their while. Perhaps a once daily shuttle bus could be provided? Not suitable for anyone with a walking problem, too many steps. Our biggest problem was the amount of mosquitos we were bitten to death despite repellent, and sprays. Obviously this is not the fault of the hotel but be warned it was very unpleasant. I personally found the dinner menu very limiting as I do not eat fish but the Saffron Spaghetti I liked very much.

A perfect romantic getaway - we felt properly looked after amongst breath-taking view of lake garda.

The property is absolutely beautiful and was the perfect setting for a romantic trip away. The town is just a short walk away and we loved exploring the area.

We had a small issue with our room at the beginning but the staff were really helpful to move us and make sure we were happy. We would still recommend to have a car to explore the area as taxis are a bit difficult to get hold of.

The fairytale wedding weekend.

The views in the early morning and late evening from the top terrace were sublime. Staff were attentive, and the restuarant prices were oddly competitive. Rooms were clean

The hotel prides itself on the individuality of the rooms, so if you have a shower in one, you may not have one in another. Some other guests seemed to find that annoying. The walk up the hill to the hotel from the lakeside is a challenge, but that's the price of stunning views across the bay.
